President Trump needs to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the Special Counsel.

"Scrubbin Bob" and his DemoKKKratzi lawthugs need to pay the price for their subversion of justice.

President Trump needs to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the Special Counsel.

****************

Not going to happen. He won’t even release the FISA docs that he ordered to be “immediately declassified” three months ago.

Nor will he fire Rod Rosenstein who is still in his job as Deputy AG even after defying congress and probably attempting to secretly record the president of the United States.

Trump seems to be very reluctant to do some necessary things in his own administration. Just saying.

Yeah but the problem is, only the attorney general or acting attorney general can appoint an independent counsel. So that would fall to Matthew Whittaker. He sure has been a silent player thus far.

28 U.S. Code Chapter 40 - INDEPENDENT COUNSEL

Then click on the 2nd bullet point: § 592 - Preliminary investigation and application for appointment of an independent counsel

Perhaps Matthew Whittaker is waiting to give the nation a Christmas present. /s

I think it would be a good idea to stop this nonsense about "appointing a Special Counsel."

The special counsel regulations in the U.S. Department of Justice are intended to deal with very limited circumstances where a prosecutor has a conflict of interest. Remember that this is why Rosenstein appointed Mueller in the first place -- because he (Rosenstein) believed he had a conflict of interest over his role in the firing of James Comey.

We don't need another "special counsel." We just need people in the DOJ to start doing their jobs. I think this is already happening -- and the "special counsel" is Matthew Whitaker.
