The pro-mass immigration Koch brothers say ending welfare-dependent immigration to the United States would do “serious harm” to the nation and be a “serious mistake.”
President Trump’s administration is looking to implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.
The immigration controls would be a boon for American taxpayers in the form of an annual $57.4 billion tax cut — the amount taxpayers spend every year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low-skilled legal immigrants.
The billionaire Kochs — avid defenders of mass immigration and free trade — are decrying the welfare-dependent immigration ban through their network of organizations.

In a modern advanced economy, orderly controlled immigration increases the supply of labor, which enlarges and expands the division of labor, which increases productivity of labor, which does two things: (1) it increases economic progress, which increases wealth and prosperity of the whole, and (2) it increases average individual real wage rates.
But illegal immigration is harmful, because it increases welfare payments and crime, which consumes wealth, which increases impoverishment.
The rich republicans want cheap imported labor and democrats want more voters who will need welfare, what’s wrong with this scenario?
That’s why the next step is the eradication of the 2nd Amendment
Disagree. The current system of chain migration based on sponsorship by a relative is bring in millions of seniors and more millions of low skilled/low wealth LEGAL immigrants. My sister sponsored our 72 year old mother, who then began collecting social security checks of $1000+ without ever having contributed any taxes. Then my sister put her in a assisted living place, which costs $4000-$5000/month, and since mother has no money, cost was picked up by the tax payers. Multiply this situation by 10+ million, and the costs become real. Ditto situation with younger low skilled LEGAL immigrants. They need welfare & hospital subsides and education subsidies.
Money often makes people utter frakin’ idiots; Kocj brothers are living testimonial to that fact!

I never hear the Koch brothers nor anyone with power over this I never hear them come up with a plan to help me with my finances.

I admire the Koch’s as I admire all success stories. That said, they are soaking the tax payer to pay for their cheap labor and they know they are yet they still do it.
So, now they are up against Trump. My bet is on Trump!

My youngest worked (temporarily) in a plant owned by the Koch Brothers. Cheapest bastards around (wage-wise) and a worthless company union. For Thanksgiving, or some such holiday, the workers got a picture of the Koch family. No wonder they favor illegals.
