Of all the anti-Trump hysterias of our age...the most absurd..:was the charge that last years repeal of an Obama-era regulation would break the Internet... the Internet is still working just fine and in many ways much better...

It was bitter war an FR. There were plenty who staked their unlimited Netflix and porn on Obama big government regs. But Trump got this one right biggly.

Basically, Obama’s regulations for the internet were about fixing a problem which never existed, but was only imagined. So, undoing the regulations meant going back to when there was no problem, and to when nobody knew that the internet was broken. So, yeah, nobody would notice that the non-problem was undone. You can’t undo a problem which never existed.

Net neutrality was explained to the public about as well as blockchain and string theory. As near as I could tell, it was some sort of feud between Big Content and Big Telecom.

Net Neutrality was pushed by the Google, Facebook and Netflix because they want someone else to pay for all the bandwidth they are using. RATs liked it because they got to lay their grubby hands all over Internet Freedoms. NPC’s (SJW’s or leftists) liked it because they were programmed to like it .

Yep, 3 big nationwide wireless networks with a variety of cheap resellers is not good enough. Llow bandwidth FR is not good enough. Using a few simple browser add-ons or a new browser to avoid any kind of censorship is not good enough.
No, the NN freaks want the government(!) to guarantee their right to unlimited HD streaming. The same government that is in bed with one political party and big media. Yeah, that'll work.
