“Es mejor morir en pies que vivir en rodillas.”-in English “It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees”-Emiliano Zapata.

I have a framed calligraphy of the quote under Zapata’s photo here on the wall by my desk-it is one of my favorites.

This is what these liberals/socialists want for all of us-around here, we are keeping our powder dry-most of us have been waiting for the revolution since we were in our teens...

You’d have to be willfully ignorant to believe that widespread civilian gun ownership DOESN’T deter tyranny.

I always laugh when gun grabbers say “what could you and your ARs do against a modern, mechanized army?” I think just about anyone who spent any length of time in Iraq or Afghanistan could answer that question. An armed populace may not be able to defeat a conventional army in the field, but it can certainly make it costly and unpleasant for that army to occupy territory. Imagine Fallujah or Sadr City with 10 times the guns available to the insurgents.

I am against the US and our Military intervening in Venezuela. That is what the game plan is, yes?

The good thing about Democrats pushing gun laws is now most Democrats have been disarmed while most Republicans are more armed than ever. It will make the eventual surrender negotiations go more smoothly.

Republicans buy guns for protection while Democrats buy them to commit crimes.

The majority of the armed services are real Americans. They will not fight to kill their fellow Americans against a government hell bent on destroying the constitution and its citizenry. That is one thing all liberals seam to forget.

Dinesh D’Souza just put up a video today that describes his arrest way back when.

He said that two guys didn’t show up with a clipboard.. but it was police, guns drawn with air support and all. And that was the day that he was radicalized.

Because he should be. Like when Hillary arrested the guy who made the Islam video (That she blamed Benghazi on). That guy was DISAPPEARED at early hours of the morning. It was way too much response.

And dems will continue - nay - ENHANCE this response to come after you and I.

You can’t say the same thing for our police departments. Even in states with Constitutional carry laws there’s tyrants with badges harassing gun owners and sometimes arresting people for carrying when it’s perfectly legal.

I notice we haven't heard from him lately, especially on the topic of Venezuela.

From Rooters May 2017:

Still, the growing turmoil has yet to bring any high-profile changes of heart from A-listers ranging from Danny Glover and Sean Penn to Naomi Campbell and Oliver Stone once known for their public pronouncements backing Chavez. Their media representatives did not respond to requests for comment.

Even the New York Times in Feb. 2018 noticed they liberals were silent on Venezuela, and the silence continues to this day.

Leftists/progressives/socialists/marxists (pretty much all the same thing) destroys everything it touches.

Canada is now a socialist nation. It’s failure is now imminent. Socialism always fails. It’s just a matter of when; not if. I guess Canada is Venezuela 2.0.

Hey! Maybe we can absorb Canada when it fails like Venezuela is right now and make it into 5 or more states. The Frenchies in Quebec are gonna have to learn to speak English though. One nation; one common language.

Pre Chavez the Constitution of Venezuela was almost a copy of the USA constitution with one fatal error. It had no second amendment.

British Columbia with the exception of Vancouver. All of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the non metropolitan areas of Ontario, New Foundland, The Northern territories, and give Quebec back to the French.

Die on your feet or live on your knees. Something like that, right?

Or: If one has nothing he considered worth dying for, he has nothing worth living for...
