I’d read elsewhere the U. S. Government had picked sides in the Mexican cartel wars.

Uncle Sugar had a secret, “No busts on your loads in return for info about OTHER cartels’ loads” arrangement with the Sinaloa Cartel.

El Chapo was more or less a disavowed employee of the DEA.

The US desire was simply to reduce the violence associated with the drug trade in Mexico.

An investigation by El Universal found that between the years 2000 and 2012, the U.S. government had an arrangement with Mexico’s Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed the organization to smuggle billions of dollars of drugs while Sinaloa provided information on rival cartels

Let's call Fast and Furious what it is. State-sponsored terrorism.

On this side of the border it's violations of the RICO Act. In Mexico and Honduras it's state-sponsored terrorism.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within a foreign country wherein that country is in a death struggle with those syndicates?

Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?

Not to mention that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.

Let's not leave out the DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.

It's organized, it is spread through every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned. It's the FedGov acting like mafiosa.

0bama, Holder and Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is state-sponsored terrorism. These criminal thugs are dragging our country down to the level of Tehran and Pyongyang.

Become totally entangled instead of being concerned with stopping it at the border. This has been governments MO for a long time, same with foreign policy. The spooks infiltrate everything. They undermine elections, destabilize other countries, frame targets and now it appears possible they were helping one drug kingpin go after his enemies. No surprise if accurate.

I just wrote this yesterday. I’m making a print version of my short stuff, 2010 to 2018, which included a piece about F&F. Just yesterday I wrote this to stick at the end:

(December, 2018 note: I believe that the Obama administration was so emboldened by the lack of consequences following Operation Fast and Furious, that they believed they could get away with anything at all. Politicizing the IRS, lying about Benghazi, Uranium One, the deep state coup against Donald Trump and other unpunished scandals all flowed from the non-reaction to Fast and Furious by the Congress and the mainstream media. Fast and Furious was the green light to weaponize every federal agency against Barack Obama’s enemies.)

I believe that observation is a dead-center bullseye.

Before that, even though their game plan didn’t pan out, their attempts to back the traitor Zelaya’s takeover of Honduras was the first indication to me that the 0bama-Hillary presidency was going to be a no-limits run for as many socialist/globalist touchdowns as they could get.

I think you correctly identify the point in time when they knew that the opposition was going to stand down and attempt no blocks or interceptions. The GOPe took dive after dive and let them run the scoreboard.

I'm fine with calling Fast and Furious terrorism; but lets not forget its intent: gun control.

Immediately prior to Fast and Furious being exposed, Obama and Hillary were running a huge propaganda campaign about Mexican cartels being armed by evil American gun dealers. They were--it was just the dealers were the government--as they both knew.

I'm not sure Sedition even covers their crimes. The depth and breadth of their actions against our country will never be known. Your research is a good compilation exposing one of their first attacks. The ongoing lack of Congressional response displays not mere incompetence, but collusion.

I remember that part of it very well and the "River of Guns" propaganda they were spewing.

Here is the debunking of that...

Mexico's Gun Supply and the 90 Percent Myth

As we discussed in a previous analysis, the 90 percent number was derived from a June 2009 U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report to Congress on U.S. efforts to combat arms trafficking to Mexico (see external link).

According to the GAO report, some 30,000 firearms were seized from criminals by Mexican authorities in 2008. Of these 30,000 firearms, information pertaining to 7,200 of them (24 percent) was submitted to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for tracing. Of these 7,200 guns, only about 4,000 could be traced by the ATF, and of these 4,000, some 3,480 (87 percent) were shown to have come from the United States.

This means that the 87 percent figure relates to the number of weapons submitted by the Mexican government to the ATF that could be successfully traced are not from the total number of weapons seized by Mexican authorities or even from the total number of weapons submitted to the ATF for tracing. In fact, the 3,480 guns positively traced to the United States equals less than 12 percent of the total arms seized in Mexico in 2008 and less than 48 percent of all those submitted by the Mexican government to the ATF for tracing. This means that almost 90 percent of the guns seized in Mexico in 2008 were not traced back to the United States.

All part of the overall globalist/socialist takeover plan.

Rather than hanging or firing squad they should all be drawn and quartered!
