Legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards confessed he has curbed his famous party lifestyle by cutting back on drinking and 'the other stuff' after getting fed up with how it made him feel.

Notice he isn’t quitting just cutting back. Guess he doesn’t want to end up like Jerry Garcia.
How old is he? Most guys figure that out in their 20’s. He’s better off quitting before it affects his good looks.
As ill-advised as it might sound, there seems to come a point in the life of many old alcoholics, where it’s more dangerous physically to quit drinking than to continue. I won’t be surprised if he passes away sometime soon.
Keith isn’t the out of control druggie people make him out to be.
He really should donate his body to science. If they could figure out how he survived with the abuse he has inflicted upon his body for the last 55+ years, you might be incredible what they could learn.
I believe this copy is 23-1/2. They cloned him back in the 60's. He just replaces the worn out version with a new one.
If he goes full detox he will die.

He works too hard to be true to that image he has carefully cultivated.
Saw the Rolling Stones back in 2006. Richards looked rough then, but he clearly enjoyed being onstage and playing. He walked over to the side of stage numerous times, smiling and talking to fans. He wasn’t just going through the motions, he was up there putting on a great show and giving 100%.
I thought he quit this stuff a long, long time ago. Maybe he still smokes.
He’s written a children’s book. I have it.
I agree. I think he has promoted his bad boy image because he enjoys the publicity. It's been many years since any charges or arrests.
