SEATTLE -- Southwest Airlines says a Dallas-bound flight returned to Seattle last weekend because a human heart was left on board.
The Seattle Times reports that Flight 3606 arrived in Seattle from Sacramento, California. Someone forgot to unload the heart before the plane left for Dallas, and the captain announced over Idaho they were turning back.

It gets weirder...
I started working on this story earlier this week and it grew even more odd. The Southwest captain told passengers the heart was destined for a Seattle hospital. But none of the areas hospitals seemed to know anything about the incident.

...And the large organizations that facilitate organ transfers for transplants said they would never use a commercial flight for a heart. So there was a heart left onboard, but its destination and purpose are unclear.

Probably returned because they had a biohazard on the plane. Not to mention a possible crime scene.

Didn’t know they had a heart - found one and are returning it to a passenger they ripped it out of.

Yeah...who is gonna admit they were too stoned to figure out how to get the cargo shipped...who sent it?...who is it addressed to? Simple enough? What company shipped it?

If they four a human heart on the plane one of the passengers must not have been a democrat. They’re all heartless.

Yeah, if it was from the Wasabi Clinic it’d *really* be jumping around!
