And so it is for the cast of Morning Joe. No matter how they might have denounced President Trump the day before, as the sun rises they are forced to begin yet again their labor of trying to take Trump down.
Today, doing his part, Donny Deutsch put his shoulder to the stone. His notion was that President Trump's travails have rendered him "pathetic" and "defanged." And whereas Trump was once a "malignant cancer," he is now a "benign cancer."

President Trump is not one of them. President Trump is a true outsider, beholden to no one. That President Trump is concerned about America and Americans first, above all else, is an existential threat to the political class.

Projection, not logic or reason , is their primary weapon. America needs a modern Cato who ended every speech, no matter what the topic, by saying “By the way Carthage must be destroyed.” Cato knew Carthage was an existential threat to Rome. Likewise Liberals are the existential threat to America.
