Yesterday, with the death of Admiral James Ace Lyons America lost a warrior of uncommon clarity of thought and directness of speech and action.
Admiral Lyons career in the Navy spanned thirty-six years, from his days as a midshipman at Annapolis to service as Commander in Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet (at that time the largest single military command in the world), Senior U.S. Military Representative to the United Nations and Deputy Chief of Naval Operations.
Although his interests and post-service commentary spanned the gamut of national security and defense issues, I became acquainted with Admiral Lyons through our mutual interest in motivating American policy makers to recognize, fight and win the war Islam has declared on the West.
One of the great moments of clarity Lyons shared with me, and anyone else who would listen, was this:
You must understand, said Lyons, Islam is a totalitarian ideology bent on world domination masquerading as a religion.

Pure Gold....him taking down the previous occupant of the White House

Amen to that. I met him a few years ago. A remarkable man.
Fair winds & following seas...
You must understand, said Lyons, Islam is a totalitarian ideology bent on world domination masquerading as a religion. He’s right. Having Islam in our society and military is like America in the 30’ and 40’s letting Nazis be apart of everything. We didn’t stand for it then, and we shouldn’t stand for it now.
A great American patriot! Thanks for posting!
RIP.
Totally agree. RINO’s and Democrats are the death of this nation.
