The other three suspects Andrew Garcia, Alejandra Guerrero and Jonathan Del Carmen have all been convicted in the deadly attack...
According to prosecutors, 24-year-old USC engineering student Xinran Ji was walking home from a study group around 1 a.m. on July 24, 2014 when he was attacked by four assailants, including Ochoa.

Ochoa is accused of hitting the victim with a bat and then running away...
Ji left behind a trail of blood and was found dead by his roommate hours later.

Such a sad, needless tragedy. The killers were dead inside a long time before they killed this Chinese student.
Some people are on the road to ruin before they’re even 10 year old. With intervention, a change of environment, or role models some find their way out of that dark tunnel.
Some of these people are surrounded by others who have given up on life getting any better, so they take their unfounded anger and envy out on others.
Very sad. Saw the news on KTLA. The losers have tattoos on their faces. The family in China is grateful for the work of the LAPD.

This is by Michelle Malkin:
In what way did this crime ‘go awry?’ Didn’t they do exactly what they intended to do which was beat someone to death for essentially no reason?
In the good old days, the perps would have been hanged, publicly.

Thanks BenLurkin.
Notice that the media never says that the Matthew Shepard murder was another crime gone awry.
This was MS13 initiation exercise.
Hate crime?
Trump should hire Michelle Malkin. I respect Sanders for enduring the boorishness of the howling media and even slapping them down occasionally, but frankly I don’t think she is very effective in articulating the larger Trump message. I’d love to see someone with Malkin’s rhetorical power.
She might be excellent.
