EMMANUEL Macron's government faces a vote of no confidence in parliament on Thursday amid nationwide anger at the French president which has seen violent riots across the country. Mr Macron's leadership is hanging by a thread after the Yellow Vest protests posed the most formidable challenge yet to his presidency. Leftist MEPs said Thursday's vote is the result of 18 months of fiscal injustice and called on the French president to "radically change direction". The Paris protests which erupted on November 17, were focused on denouncing a squeeze on household spending brought about by Mr Macron's taxes on diesel, which he said were necessary to combat climate change and protect the environment.

But not easily. The EU won't go down without a fight.
And who and what will replace him? Hungary seems to be the only European nation in which elected leaders haven't sold out their people. EU troops are in France already. This is looking a bit like the European theater of WW3, and Germany is winning. And now they even have a lot of Mideasterners to use in war.
I'm not there, so I can't judge. Is there any good way out of this mess?

He is a supremely educated and intelligent fool.
His basic problem is he has false assumptions about the nature of reality.
He thinks "climate change" is important; moreover, he thinks all thinking people agree with him, and those that do not are of no consequence.
You cannot make good decisions if you believe many false things are important and true.
It would not make too much difference, if he simply believed that walruses off of Greenland snorted in German.
I would caution folks....these three parties bringing up this idea....only hold about a quarter of the seats in the Parliament (577 seats). They’d have to convince five additional parties holding seats, and then go and convince at least 100 members (out of 308 Macron party members) to vote with no-confidence. It would be a remarkable and crazy mess.
You’d basically throw Macron out....call for a new election, and go through a fairly serious drama...right before the EU election (May).
Macron is a classic poster boy example of Nick Taleb’s educated fool!
