We are former senators. The Senate has long stood in defense of democracy and must again.
"During our service in the Senate, at times we were allies and at other times opponents, but never enemies. We all took an oath swearing allegiance to the Constitution. Whatever united or divided us, we did not veer from our unwavering and shared commitment to placing our country, democracy and national interest above all else."

Blah, blah, blah...
FORMER is the key word here.
John Warner VA...will be 92 in Feb...
and these dudes think we still care? give me a break...
I thought this was in Mad Magazine when I first heard of it.
Did someone give the keys to the asylum to the insane?
The Walking Dead.
Here is my response: Who cares what you think?
The entire opening statement is a blatant lie and full of errors. We aren’t a democracy you idiots.
it was the left/rinos who started hating on ordinary everyday salt of the earth meateaters...
Gary Hart, Tom Daschle.
Where’s John Edwards?
Interesting how they had nothing to say about the Fast Walking Gun deal,IRAN deal, National Healthcare, FISA-Gate, etc... and nothing to say of Trumps major accomplishments.
Like the loser past presidents, they are silent until they feel they can effect maximum damage...Silent until now because now we have a man who truly wants to shake things up and MAGA.
The amount of FLAK President Trump takes assures me that we picked the right man for the job, and he is on the right track!
44 of the elected pimps of the election industry whose significant efforts were directed at inflicting a 20 TRILLION dollar DEBT on our country!
Read it. It’s total gibberish. Just like they’ve spouted their whole lives. Worthy of the Senate, and of these Senators.
They take themselves way too seriously. They are simply attorneys who when to Washington to represent a district, nothing more. F em.
Whenever I hear anyone proclaim that President Trump is a threat to our Republic, I simply ask them to provide details, and concrete examples to back up their claims.
At that point, they just get angrier, and either start yelling louder, or walk away.
Because they have nothing. It is just blind hatred or the man himself.
The editorial doesnt come out and saw anything. I do think it implies that when the time comes, senators must set aside their partisan impulses and vote to remove Trump, for the good of the country.
It’s gameday. Break time is over.
