The Democratic National Committee has a few concerns heading into 2019. For starters, their cash flow is not even in the same stratosphere as the Republicans' haul. The RNC raised $227.2 million in 2018 to the DNC's nearly $120 million. Secondly, their voter data infrastructure appears to be crumbling. A new strategy pushed by DNC leadership would compile all the voter data from Democratic groups into a single, for-profit entity. It is a strategy that is "modeled" after their Republican counterpart, Politico explains. But, the shift is causing a major argument between the national committee and the Democratic state parties, who are wondering why they should agree to give up this control of the voter database.
But in interviews with more than two dozen state party chairs, vice chairs and executive directors, the response to the proposal being pushed by DNC Chairman Tom Perez and his leadership team ranged from skeptical to outright hostile. Both sides agree that being able to swap data seamlessly with outside groups is necessary, but theyre at loggerheads over the best way to make it happen.
Im not willing to give up one of our most important tools to a group of people who have never even worked on a campaign before, Trav Robertson, chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, said of Perezs team. (Politico)
"Theres definitely, whats in it for us? questions still there, added Valdez Bravo, a vice chairman of the Oregon Democratic Party.
The committee is also considering cutting a $10 million grant program to state parties.
State parties have some justification for their skepticism after the bias the DNC showed in the 2016 presidential election. They essentially rolled out the red carpet for Hillary Clinton, to the detriment of Bernie Sanders's campaign. Former DNC interim chair Donna Brazile wrote a whole book about it and said the bias at the committee was so rampant it made her weep.

Dont be fooled.
They out raised us through PAC’s and private crowd funding by several hundred million in 2018...
Start counting the votes now. Where’s the problem?
This is total bull. Doesnt matter what the DNC collects with a stable full of anti American billionaires handing out tens if not hundreds of millions.

You’re right. We should be concerned. We don’t have a Soros on our side.
Their strategy is to ballot harvest and lie that republicans want to get rid of pre existing conditions.
Strategy: Resist, Harvest, Promote Hate.
Let me be the first to congratulate Chuck Schumer, the new Majority Leader of the Senate in 2021.
The Rats had half their Caucus up for Reelection in 2018 and the GOP had eight. The GOP lost two of those and they barely squeaked out Wins by single digits in States where it shouldn’t have even been a contest.
The Rats only lost four of twenty five and ten of those were in States that Trump won. In a sane world we should have won eight Democrat Seats.
The Economy on fire and yet we barely get over the Finish Line. Yeah, 2020 will be great, especially woth the Voter Fraud that will eclipse anything we have ever experienced.
Good point!
“The RNC raised $227.2 million in 2018 to the DNC’s nearly $120 million.”
Yeah, right. That is why Sinema the Democrat Pink Tutu Wearer was able to outspend Martha McSally for months in Arizona, and why the GOP pulled all funding to the lady trying to win McSally’s House seat a month prior to the election - because “WE” had money to burn! Now add in the media’s multi-BILLION unpaid advertising boost to democrat campaigns...
Democrats have already started filling out ballots for 2020.
Republicans in Congress love their donor class ahead of the voter class.
This ^^^
They have many billionaires funding them. Doesn’t matter that much what the DNC raises.
I can’t wait to see dozens of Democrats destroying one another at the first party debate next year.
If the Republicans don’t do something about the dem fraud, they can kiss 2020 goodbye.
The Democrats had much better ground game. I had a bunch of democrats at my door to talk about their candidate, not one Republican.
Forget the game playing discussed in this article. What the Republicans need are the right MAGA issues, the right talking points to raise these issues, articulate candidates, and to start the fund raising now. And Trump must learn to be a communicator as well as a fighter — name calling will not win elections.
