Here, I'll help you. The album was released in April 1967.

The Moody Blues: "Nights in White Satin" (album version including Graeme Edge's poetry)

Being the Music Director of a college radio station, I ran across a lot of records that I loved that didn't make it. This was one. The British recording industry attempted to tame this guy. The song was written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod, whose songbook I played in my earliest days in the Canteen around 2011.

Long John Baldry: "Let the Heartaches Begin"

When I did the Roger Greenaway and Roger Cooke songbook all those years ago, I pointed out that one way to get your songs recorded was to record them yourself. This is the two Rogers under the name of David & Jonathan in 1967. They were best known for writing hits for the Fortunes. In 1972, the English Congregation would record a kind of rap version of this sweet little tune.

David & Jonathan: "Softly Whispering I Love You"

The Vogues went from a Pittsburgh label (CO&CE) to MGM in 1967 where they recorded this Roger Greenaway & Roger Cooke tune. A year later they went to Warner Brothers where they turned to a totally different sound.

The Vogues: "Lovers of the World Unite"

This little item form 1967 was totally out of left field, but I loved it. It was a hit in the UK, but not here.

Keith West: "Excerpt from a Teenage Opera"

It's been over half a century since 1967, but this song still haunts me.

Thanks....biggest and longest quake I've been in. Not fun.

No power for several hours, things falling off the wall, and walking off shelves, but at least no major damage at my house. Very little breakage considering.

The biggest mess to clean up...every door and drawer open and things flying onto the floor, my bed, and the floor on the far side of the bed.
