James Alex Fields Jr. was found guilty on Friday of killing Heather Heyer when he plowed his car into a group of counterprotesters last year at a "Unite the Right" rally that quickly turned violent in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Fields, 21, was convicted on all counts, including first-degree murder in connection to Heyer's death and five counts of aggravated malicious wounding, three counts of malicious wounding and one hit and run count for injuring dozens of others with his vehicle.

As a rule, there’s no minimum time limit for premeditation. He simply had to form the intent prior to driving into the crowd. Going there with the intention isn’t necessary.
But some are political hacks and suck. Seen both good and bad on both sides of the prosecutor/public defender aisle. (Never been charged with anything, but sadly have friends who have.)

Fields does not qualify for a presidential pardon.
If they were that “excellent” they would of been hired by a private law firm already.
Unfortunate. Hope they put him in a isolated cell. Put him in with the general population, with the white supremacist tag they’ve hung around his neck, and he’s in big trouble.
