You’re right. But the clip I saw of Tillerson painted a picture of Trump wanting to go to the limit or over the limit. Tillerson was very much in attack mode.
Like the coke-snorting a-hole in Die Hard - tried to rat out the hero, didn’t end well for him.
Just saw a front page article in the OC Register saying that Mueller’s court filing stated an unnamed person (Trump) directed Cohen to make “illegal” payments to Daniels. I guess the logic is that the payments were illegal because they were made in order to influence the outcome of an election.
Does anyone know if Mueller is officially calling the payoff illegal?
