Michael Cohen, President Trumps former lawyer, should receive a substantial prison term of roughly four years, despite his cooperation, federal prosecutors in New York said on Friday.
Mr. Cohen, 52, is to be sentenced in Manhattan next week for two separate guilty pleas: one for campaign finance violations and financial crimes charged by federal prosecutors in Manhattan, and the other for lying to Congress in the Russia inquiry, filed by the Office of the Special Counsel in Washington.

That's probably the reason for the recommendation of a 4 year prison sentence. He promised to deliver the goods, and fell far short.

You’re right. But the clip I saw of Tillerson painted a picture of Trump wanting to go to the limit or over the limit. Tillerson was very much in attack mode.

Just saw a front page article in the OC Register saying that Muellers court filing stated an unnamed person (Trump) directed Cohen to make illegal payments to Daniels. I guess the logic is that the payments were illegal because they were made in order to influence the outcome of an election.
Does anyone know if Mueller is officially calling the payoff illegal?
