A Los Angeles city councilman proposed on Wednesday that the city require movie theaters and sports venues to serve vegan food.
The law would make Los Angeles the first city in the nation to impose such a mandate. At a press conference on the steps of City Hall, councilman Paul Koretz announced the measure alongside representatives from PETA, the Humane League, and the Los Angeles Food Policy Council. The ordinance would require theaters and other large-scale entertainment venues that serve food to offer at least one vegan protein option on their menus.
Theres really no downside to it, Koretz told Variety. The change could easily be made in any venue. A movie theater serves hot dogs. They can serve vegan dogs. Its easy.

I forgot to mention possible jail time as well.
This retromingent clown Koretz is from West Hollywood, that is all you need to know.
“Organic” means they pooped on it for fertilizer.
According to Occasional Cortex a green economy will automatically solve all the other problems like racism poverty unequal justice etc ....
Movie theaters don't make money on the movie itself. Almost all of their money comes from concessions. If they are forced to sell things few want, they will go out of business quickly.
I could care less about proper vegan cooking temps. I was commenting about it will take 30 minutes since the tofu hot dogs wont be selling enough to sit on the roller.
Custom cooking takes time.
” that serve food to offer at least one vegan protein option on their menus”
they didn’t specify that the one vegan option had to be palatable, so a good default would be frozen horse turds on a stick ... i’m pretty sure there’s probably at least a tiny bit of protein in horse turds ... if not, then frozen cat turds on a stick should definitely work ... after all, a lot of dogs think cat poop is more nutritious than dog food ...
“Not so-its just saying vegan choices should be offeredyou dont have to order it.”
yeah, but every food vendor in every such venue will be required to stock stuff almost no one will buy, thereby tying up capital, shelf space, and lost profits due to having to throw away the crap that almost no one will buy ...
“Vegans dont eat nachos since cheese is an animal product as is the butter on the popcorn.”
except the “butter” on most popcorn is synthetic with not a single molecule of animal protein or fat therein ... nacho cheese isn’t real cheese either, though some of it might contain casein ...

“Government dictating what you eat. No area of life is free from the iron grip of the overpowering claws of a ravenous government.”
Yep, Capitalism, Free Enterprise, Private Property - It ain’t about vegan food is it?
Just another reason to avoid a movie theater.
This is important not the thug robbing or raping you, the illegal overrunning the citizenry and on the tax payer dime, the fires caused by the homeless camping in the woods, legalizing pot and soon mushrooms a vegan mandate is the solution!
Vegan: A new thing for psychologists to label obsessive compulsive before my lifetime is over.
I am rather surprised that vegans even bother with tofu. I couldn’t imagine bean curd boiled for hours to render the scum having a lot of nutritional value either. It is perplexing to me, only because I started my working life in industrial kitchens working for dieticians (aka nutritionists), and enlisted in the Coast Guard as a cook (that learned me).
No, its government dictating what a private business must sell, regardless of whether or not there is a profit to be made. They aren't forcing patrons to eat vegan crap.
Theres really no downside to it,
My shiny hiny....It costs money and cuts into profits carrying inventory and offering a product that doesnt sell worth sh!t””’
AND-—When it doesn’t sell, it gets turned into PIG FOOD !!!!!.
San Fran has the poop.
Los Angeles has TYFUS.....
You've got it all wrong. In today's America consumers should obey their political Masters in all respects. Forget about free choice and supply and demand! It's now the Law of Command.
