Labor unions are collecting dues from public employees without their affirmative consent in defiance of a Supreme Court ruling that state laws requiring nonunion government workers to make such payments are unconstitutional, a new lawsuit alleges.
The Freedom Foundation, a free market think tank based in Washington state, joined with the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation to sue on behalf of 10 government employees in Oregon who argue that union dues or fees should not be deducted from their paychecks after they officially resigned from their union.
This is one of the biggest scandals Ive ever witnessed from the unions and the government, Aaron Withe, director of Freedom Foundations Oregon chapter, said in a press release. The union dues theyve forcibly deducted from people who want out are meant to be designated to the working families of this state, not some special interest group.
The lawsuit, filed Nov. 20, names as defendants Local 503 of the Service Employees International Union and Council 75 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, as well as several government agencies.
In Janus v. American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that agency shop laws requiring nonunion government workers to pay union fees violate the First Amendment rights of workers who object to the political agenda of public employee unions.
...
The Oregon lawsuit is nearly identical to a suit the Freedom Foundation filed on behalf of Washington state government employees in August challenging the constitutionality of union membership forms.

Court decisions mean nothing to the Left; they will do as they will and enforcement of laws against them take so long as to be meaningless.
Court decisions against the Right are the Law of the Land, immediately enforced with an iron fist.
They don’t mean anything to me either.
Nor do laws passed.
I’m not doing anything these people tell me I have to do. Nothing.
Gee, if labor unions can ignore the Federal Courts, why can’t Trump?
It seems to me that you sue the unions for the return of the money that they illegally received, and the gov't agencies for a wrongful taking. I'd even think that a Section 1983 suit against the chief of each agency, the head of finance and the head of personnel for each agency, would be appropriate. It should be SIMPLE to get a TRO against the agencies, to be made permanent later.
Well yeah. Since they’re mostly democrap run organizations one would expect they’d ignore any silly court order. Courts? LOLOLOLOL!
Taking of funds without consent is theft. Where are the arrest warrants?
It is SEIU, of course.
Democrats need that extorted money, doncha know.
Those Chesapeake waterfront mansions dont just pay for themselves, you know.
Lets play a round of can you guess the Government Party Affiliation!
The State of Oregon is taking unions dues from State employees checks that are not in the union in defiance of the law.
What Political Party controls the Government of Oregon? You have 30 seconds!
Im not doing anything these people tell me I have to do. Nothing.

This is easy to do if you live in a cabin in the woods. Otherwise not so much...
Grand Theft.
I’ll do it anywhere I’m at, I’ve done it my whole life, and I have no cabin in the woods.
If they catch me, they catch me. So far, they haven’t.
Laws don’t apply to The Purple People Beaters or Antifa.
When you are on video publicly beating someone and law enforcement does nothing, why fear anyone or anything.
This is what the Left does — they run to the courts with Leftist judges to get the rulings they want and expect the losers to abide by the ruling. Yet, when a ruling goes against them, they just ignore it, change the name of the group or do some other thing to keep on doing what they had been doing. The unions are experts at this.
It's also easy to do when you get to the point that you no longer have any chains to tie you to this mortal plane.
