President Trump marked Hanukkah Thursday evening at a White House reception that included eight survivors of the Holocaust.
In an East Room event, Mr. Trump recalled the fatal mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in October, calling it a “sinister anti-Semitic attack.”
“In the aftermath of that wicked assault, we reaffirmed our solemn duty to confront anti-Semitism everywhere it occurs,” the president said. “We must stamp out this vile hatred from the world.”
The president then introduced eight Holocaust survivors, calling the era “history’s darkest hour.” He told the survivors that they inspire the world with their courage, and that they had seen “evil beyond description.”

As anti-Semitism once more flourishes in Western Europe, one has to wonder whether the evil of Hitler was overblown. It now appears that the basic anti-Semitism of the European people elevated Hitler as a representative of their beliefs.
Hitler favored Muslims over Jewish people and Western Europe now does exactly the same thing, sans Hitler.

There’d be another holocaust in Israel today if Democrats had their way. And they dared suggest that today’s antisemitism was because of Trump. Liars, all. Socialists are like that.

I agree. Hitler had no trouble gathering the German people behind him. His ability to blame the Jews for Germany’s woes without pushback occurred because he had tapped into an essential belief of the people that the country’s troubles were caused by the International Jew. When Germany invaded the rest of Europe, many of the conquered eagerly signed up to help rid their countries of the Jews, going so far as to assist in the killings and manning the concentration camps. For example, the French established a concentration camp to hold its Jews until they could be shipped east to Auschwitz and other killing fields. So, yes, it is sad but seems true that Jew hatred is part and parcel of the European system of values. Thus, when Muslims and others on the left and right spout anit-semitism, Europe yawns.
Of course..which is why the UN must have been disbanded a long time ago..just get rid of them they are good for nothing

These are very perceptive and interesting observations, and if widely disseminated, I’m sure would generate a great deal of controversy.
Obama was busy hosting rappers during his 8 years.
