An aide to California Sen. Kamala Harris (D) resigned Wednesday after his involvement in a settled harassment case was uncovered by a local newspaper.
The Sacramento Bee reported Wednesday that Harris's office confirmed the resignation of Larry Wallace, the senator's senior adviser, after the Bee contacted Harris's office with questions related to Wallace's conduct at California's state Department of Justice.
According to a lawsuit uncovered by the newspaper, Wallace was named in a 2016 harassment case that was settled last year after a woman who previously worked as his executive assistant said that the former state official "harassed and demeaned" her due to her gender.
The lawsuit also claims that Wallace repeatedly asked his assistant to change the paper on a printer located under his desk while she was wearing dresses or skirts, frequently in front of male guests. When she asked to move the printer to avoid such compromising situations, Wallace reportedly refused.
The lawsuit was filed while Harris was preparing to take office as California's junior U.S. senator, during the waning days of her tenure as California's attorney general. Her successor, Xavier Becerra, settled the lawsuit months later. At that time, Wallace began working for the senator.
In a statement to the Bee, Harris's office maintained that it was unaware of Wallace's role in the lawsuit and that the aide had offered his resignation.
We were unaware of this issue and take accusations of harassment extremely seriously. This evening, Mr. Wallace offered his resignation to the senator and she accepted it, a spokeswoman told the newspaper.
Harris, who was elected in 2016, is considered a top possibility for the 2020 Democratic nomination and is rumored to be considering a White House run.
Wow, sounds like a nerve was touched.
Kamala is soon to be in the same hopeless category as Warren for 2020.
...Next!
Kamala Harris IS NOT ELIGIBLE to be POTUS or any position that can succeed POTUS.
NEITHER of her parents ere American citizens when she was born. They are Jamaican & Indian (Hindu) & came to this country as students.
They did not become American citizens until 5-6 years after Kamala was born.
Rapin Kamala...
Guess Kammy is “all in” for the rapey stuff in her offices...
She is not a natural born citizen. Was born of two legal immigrants to America who were not citizens at her birth. BUT even better she should be razzed at every opportunity for effing her way to the top via Willie Brown's "mentoring" and patronage.
Democrats/Leftists hate it when the “pound me too” (#metoo) criteria are applied to their behavior.
Absolutely Kamala (dama ding dong) is not a natural born citizen. I agree with all you posted and have known this for a while.
But another thing that will hold her back, she has that ugly distressed conflicted look on her face. Whereas ten years ago in her photos she was v cute in a brown sugar (lite) kinda way.
Are there any photos of the assistant under the desk?
...Wallace repeatedly asked his assistant to change the paper on a printer located under his desk while she was wearing dresses or skirts, frequently in front of male guests. When she asked to move the printer to avoid such compromising situations, Wallace reportedly refused...
He got the idea from Don Draper..
Or bend at the knees old fashioned ladylike, instead of head down and rear up like the Playmate of the Month.
Are the taxpayers on the hook for this bribery aka payoff to this oh so innocent chippy? IOW did Kamala pay out even one nickle? No frinking way!
Not only that, but if she wants to run for the “WHITE House” she is also a racist.
.
.
.
or maybe she just wants some of that “White Privilege.”
That’s what I was thinking.
Something to do with your yoga pants?

I thought you knew I’m a long-dress fundamentalist frump.
Who ran a prostitution ring out of their office?!
Representative Barney Frank, Democrat Massachusetts. Actually it was his gay boyfriend who ran a homosexual prostitution ring out of Frank’s Congressional office.
Oh dear. Meeting the needs of some of his constituents, I guess.
