An attorney for President Trump requested the court obtain $800,000 in legal fees and penalties from porn star actress Stormy Daniels for her unsuccessful defamation lawsuit against the president.
Attorney Charles Harder said his firm spent more than 500 hours and $390,000 in legal fees defending the president and asked the court to press for just as much money in sanctions to deter “frivolous defamation cases.”
“This action is virtually unprecedented in American legal history,” Harder wrote in court papers. Daniels “not only brought a meritless claim for defamation against the sitting president of the United States, but she also has engaged, along with her attorney, in massive national publicity.”

One of the benefits of a malpractice suit is that Avenatti’s disastrous financial condition may not be an obstacle. He almost certainly would have a liability insurance policy in place that would cover the cost of any settlement (I can’t imagine California would let a lawyer practice professionally without it).

Well she claimed recently that he did not even have (or seek) her authorization to bring forward the defamation suit. Whatever the facts may be between Stormy and Avenatti, they are likely to tear each other apart now, each trying to avoid responsibility for paying Trump’s legal fees (and possible penalties).
I hope that Avenatti gets the worst of everything here, but Stormy and Avenatti should both go down.... eewwww I don’t mean in a porn way......
Stormy and Avenatti will need to make movies together to try to raise the funds.....
