Sheeeeah...there is something wrong with folks who can’t set aside their ideology for a few hours. The other day I took a 4 hour flight and as luck would have it I ended seated beside a very well known far left writer, activist and political commentator. We were engeged in a nonstop discussion that started at the gate and didnt stop until we were at baggage....must have touched on a hundred subjects and of course didnt agree on one. At the baggage carousel she thanked me for a rollicking good debate....and I thanked her for a thought provoking civil discussion that gave me a lot of insight into why she thought her ideology made sense to her.
