Does the NY GOP need new leadership?
City and State NY ^ | November 13, 2018 | REBECCA C. LEWIS

In the aftermath of last week’s devastating losses for Republicans in the state Senate, as well as losing three House seats in New York, some in the party have begun calling for a change in leadership in both the state Senate and in the state GOP. The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday the conference is discussing leadership changes after last week’s election, while The Buffalo News reported yesterday of mounting calls for new statewide party leadership.

But changing leadership just for the sake of having someone new may not be the best path forward for the party, and laying the blame at the feet of the current leadership for last week’s statewide and state Senate failures is not necessarily fair.

NY GOP doesn’t exist where it counts - in NYC. When inroads are made in NYC, NY will change. If inroads are not made, NY will not. It really is that simple.

NYS GOP is an acronymic oxymoron. And it’s not just the leadership.

True.

What's even more true is "Why Bother?"

If the NY Uniparty "GOPee" actually manned up, the NooYawk DemoKKKratzis would just change the voting laws to be like KKKalifornia.

The vote counting would go on for weeks after the eleKKKtion, and the KKKrats would all win anyway.

“We are very well positioned to be a party in opposition,” Cox said. “Now that we are a party fully in opposition, we can really stand up on where we think the state should go, and do it really effectively.”

Chairman NYS GOP Cox

New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, and the three West Coast states are run by the Democrats, who are Marxists in the Gramsci/Frankfurt School/Alinsky model and who fix elections through electoral fraud. The U.S. Constitution requires that each state have a republican form of government. One party rule by Marxists does not constitute a republican form of government. The Constitution states that the United States shall guarantee to every state a republican form of government. The six states listed lack such government.

President Trump has sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution. Lincoln, Jackson, and Buchanan swore the same oath. Lincoln and Jackson owned up to their duty. Buchanan did not. What path shall Trump take?

In the state committee, GOP county leaders will vote on its leadership in 2019. But if there will be some shake ups, former state Senate Republican spokesman John McArdle suggested they be sorted out quickly. “The sooner they deal with this, the better, so they can get re-organized and move forward,” McArdle said. “But I don’t think there’s any clarity as we speak right now.”

Ed Cox is a Blue Blood establishment HACK. He has no accomplishments to point to, the county party chairmen are also mostly patronage hacks. Bottom line, the GOP party in NYS has been dead since Bill Powers left the helm. Frankly, If the party wanted to recover they should elect former Congressman John Sweeney to take over.

Other insiders think the reasons behind the big losses are obvious and largely attributable to two factors: the unpopularity of Donald Trump in the state and a national blue wave.

Idiots.

Worse than that. They literally work to get the Dems elected. They have been entirely co-opted. Been that way since Pataki.

Remove “NY” from the headline and the answer, *amazingly*, is STILL a resounding, “YES”

For every ‘reason’ to vote PRO, they come out w/ 10 more to vote CON.

IMO, if the (D) hadn’t stepped on their own own d!cks, the “blue wave” WOULD have been more than the tiny-lap in the mid-terms.

Former GOP Senator D'Amato supports the Dem Governor and opposes GOP statewide candidates. Some Party :(
