The homes of Glenn Beck and Mark Levin are combining to create Blaze Media, which insiders say will reach 165 million people via television, digital platforms and social media.
Glenn Beck and Mark Levin are teaming up by merging TheBlaze and CRTV to create a conservative-media entity dubbed Blaze Media, which they say will reach 165 million people via television, digital platforms and social media.
Beck and Levin are set to officially announce what they are calling a merger of equals on Monday, but Beck tells The Hollywood Reporter that the move could be just a next step at building a powerhouse, independent media company.
This is the beginning of scale, he says. Anyone who loves the Bill of Rights and pursues honesty, I want them all in. Were an open book. Lets talk, he says.

Tens of millions of Americans have had it with the biased, ideologically driven mainstream media outlets that sanctimoniously advance their own agendas under the guise of news and journalism. Conservatives actually believe in a free press and the rest of the Constitution, said Levin.
He added that his intention with the merger is to further expand and offer the public an alternative to liberal media group-think.

Stunning that Levin would consider “Blaze” in the naming of this merge. Beck doesn’t realize that Levin’s name has far more clout than his own..
I happen to enjoy Levins Fox programing. ..his guests have been intriguing and interesting.
stabby the clown and levine the loudmouth. be still my heart.
Won’t it be interesting to hear what Rush has to say about this?
Both of them are going belly-up. Now they’ll go belly-up together.
What a bonehead. Hillary and Kaine even put out a book by that name. I cannot believe he said that.
bump post 17 for later
oh my - and he said “he might have voted for Hillary” too
“I’d LOVE to see Trump appoint Mark Levin in charge of a SPECIAL INVESTIGATION —————”

To tell you truth I’d rather he just keeps doing what he’s been doing———keeping us informed.
Most of the media, mainstream and on-line, just fills us with propaganda.

Thank you for mentioning the awesome Boss 429 Mustang
Glenn Beck says it will affect the television lineup too, but not until January. In the meantime, he says, “we hope to have a couple of big announcements.”
I wonder if they’re going to start a newscast. (They do have “The News and Why It Matters”, but that’s a panel discussion show.) They could probably get Bolling to anchor. Structure it sort of like “Special Report.”
If you had a classic Boss in mint right now? $500,000 minimum.

Actually, I said “54-57” seats.
Not too bad. Missed by one-—better than most pollsters.
I call that losing by a nose.
Sorry again, Larry.
True. Jay Severin, Lawrence Jones, Mike Slater, Chris Salcedo, Doc Thompson were all enjoyable hosts I used to listen to who were "laid off" in the past 2 years. I didn't care for Mike Opelka, but he got laid off too. Buck Sexton even bought his way out of his syndication contract with The Blaze so he could move on to a better, more stable environment. I think about all Beck has left as live radio hosts are his clown car LDS buddies - Pat, Stu and Jeffy.
There was no financial or business sense to suggest keeping the network going and burning through cash. I don't understand why CRTV would want to have anything to do with this. I give it a year, two at the outside, before the whole enterprise declares bankruptcy.
Levin has no control over the legal wranglings between Cary Katz, the majority owner of CRTV, and Mark Steyn. He could have taken a stand in favor of Steyn, but it probably would have meant severing ties with CRTV. Now the issue may be moot since CRTV no longer exists and the Mark Levin Show is on BlazeTV, not CRTV.
Don’t know whether Katz is now actually partnered with Beck. I hope Beck does not regret this. I admire Beck as a risk-taking businessman. A visionary in developing a channel and programming for streaming TV. I think he was spending too much money for a while, though. Maybe he has reined that in. If not, tying himself to the corps of CRTV is not really a way to get in or stay in the black.
I have to wonder if this is just one more attempt on Katz’ part to avoid having to pay the four million dollar judgment he owes to Steyn. For those who don’t know, Steyn was one of the early hosts on CRTV after Levin. Katz and CRTV fired Steyn and then sued him for ten million dollars. A judge ruled that Steyn doesn’t owe Katz anything and that Katz actually owes Steyn four million. Katz has continued to avoid paying and has tried to re-sue Steyn. Katz even sued CRTV (as Steyn put it, this is like having his left buttock sue his right buttock) so that it would go bankrupt on paper and there would be nothing to pay Steyn with. A judge rejected that plan. Katz is still trying to re-sue Steyn as I write this.
