Nigeria's Buhari denies dying and being replaced by lookalike

Nigeria’s President Buhari on Sunday denied claims that he had died and been replaced by a Sudanese impostor, breaking his silence on a rumor that has circulated on social media for months.

Buhari, who is running for re-election in February, spent five months in Britain last year being treated for an undisclosed illness. One theory widely aired on social media - and by some political opponents - was that he had been replaced by a lookalike from Sudan called Jubril.

“A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health,” he said, adding that those who spread the rumor were “ignorant and irreligious”.

The presidency circulated Buhari’s comments in an emailed statement entitled “It’s Real Me, President Buhari Responds to Cloning Allegation”.

I think the newsworthy story would be him admitting he was an impostor.

So when can I expect my $15 million? I sent in my $2000 handling fees. I thought all was lost when I heard that he had died, but hope springs eternal.

[ Nigeria’s Buhari denies dying and being replaced by lookalike ]

Wonder if he can help me with this Nigerian guy. He said, he was a prince and needed to get $35 million dollars out of the country. He said I could have half of it for helping him.

He just needed my bank account number, bank routing number and some other personal information.

For some reason, my account seems overdrawn these days.

I’m perplexed.....

I have the same problem! But apparently, if we can just deposit an extra hundred, each, in a holding account, then the transfer will come through ...

Imagine how much better Africa would be if the Europeans had successfully expanded there as they did in North America? Why success in one and failure in the other?

With Hollywood’s solid backing of the Dems, Libs & Progressives I must admit I wonder if Scotus RBG hasn’t died and been replaced ... with her clerks in on it it’d be easy ... she could be asleep most of the time. ;-)

Nigeria’s President Buhari ...

Hey I know that guy! We've been emailing back and forth on a banking deal that I really can't talk about. But yeah, that's him!
