The Worst Riots In Generations Sparked In Paris. Here's Why.

Violent protests ravaged Paris, France on Saturday when French citizens became upset about rising taxes and the high cost of living, USA Today reported. According to police, 133 were injured and 412 were arrested. This isn't the first time violent protests hit the capital. In fact, this is the third straight weekend that violence has taken place in Paris. The violence initially began on Nov. 17th when a gas tax increase was announced. The riots that took place this weekend, however, have been considered to be the worst one in a generation.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday visited the Arc de Triomphe monument, which was graffitied during the riots. Macron vowed to hold those responsible for the damage accountable.

The movement is compromised of average working citizens and is referred to as the “Yellow Vests." According to the New York Times, their name comes from the yellow safety vests motorists are supposed to wear when they have a breakdown on the side of the road.

The thing that ticked off the Soviets the most about America is that we got all the cars and they got all the parking places.

Laissez le bon Trump rouler!

"This isn't the first time violent protests hit the capital. In fact, this is the third straight weekend that violence has taken place in Paris."

While I am concerned about the violence and also Macron's proposed crackdowns on it. Two things give me hope, one is pictures of the Yellow vesters waving French Flags and also these demonstrations/riots only take place on the weekends. That tells me these are real people and not just leftist rabble rousers. They have real jobs and responsibilities during the week so they can only riot on the weekends when they are off!!

Macron is just another socialist who doesn’t understand that you can’t have economic growth and taxes at the same time. It has never worked but elitists like him always think they know better. Give President Trump one thing he listens to the voters, he doesn’t do what Macron does and tells them what is good for them...

IT just goes to show you about DNA. He and George were/are both big time cigarette smokers. George is dead from cancer.
Keith continues on even though he abused his body with drugs and other substances for decades.

Yes, you're right. If most of us led Keith Richard' life we would be hard pressed to make it to 60 before our body gave up the ghost. I just love this pic..
