The chief Palestinian Authority (PA) negotiator Saeb Erekat claimed that PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas is willing to meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu “anywhere in the world”.
“I challenge Mr. Netanyahu [to meet Abbas], officially. He can choose any country, any country on earth. Moscow, Beijing, London, Berlin,” said Erekat, secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Executive Committee, in an interview with German broadcaster Deutsche Welle.
“He will meet him. This is a challenge, a declared challenge,” he added.
The Israel- PA peace process has been frozen since 2014, when Abbas breached conditions of talks that were ongoing at the time by unilaterally joining international treaties and conventions.
Since that time, Abbas has continuously chosen to impose preconditions on talks with Israel rather than heeding Netanyahu's call to sit down and negotiate.

Meaningless, they want to declare an independent Palestinian nation that includes the Westbank. Israel already saw what happened when they gave back Gaza. Stop firing the rockets for about 5 years, stop paying suicide bombers, stop teaching the anti-jewish crap in there schools for 5 years, then maybe you can talk.

I'm sure this is due to his perception of weakness of our President Trump, so he appears to offer an opening. The fact is, he's lying, as he has before, and his real position is demanding nation status from the UN. And we never notice any of the Jew-hating EU reject those demands based on how that "final status" and has to be settled by negotiation. Thanks Eleutheria5.

Well, I’m sure Bibi would be more than glad to oblige as soon as the PA spokesman can tell him where those countries are he named! Are they that ignorant over there?
Netanyahu should meet Abbas in Ramallah. Assemble a force of about 5000 troops, tanks, attack helicopters, low flying bomber jets circling overhead, take military control of the headquarters and drive straight in. Sit across the table from Abbas and hear what he has to say. Then tell him, I heard what you said but it is meaningless to me until you take control of Gaza, or cede all rights to it. Choose one.
There is no negotiations with a person who cannot even credibly speak for his own people, and until they can control all their territory, cease incitement and provocation and preach peace and cooperation, take decisive action against rogues who launch attacks then Israel will remain on a war footing - look out the window and see what that looks like.
