Of course he should do it. And more. There is so much evidence of conspiracy and criminality inside the White House, DOJ, FBI, CIA et al that it boggles my mind he hasn’t appointed a special investigator/prosecutor.
You have in the FBI a string of firings, resignations and demotions all based on malfeasance. You have the unmasking. You have the leaks. You have the texts and emails saying “the WH is running this”. You have a home-brew server dishing out classified info to all comers, a leak inside the DNC, the Awan brothers accessing Congressional servers and fraudulently stealing $100,000s in equipment. You have the FBI exonerating HRC months before interviewing her. You have perjury in the FISA court. You have the arrangement to move Steele from FBI to partisan operatives and the DNC paying millions for foreign sourced information. You have the wiretaps. Heck, even NSA Director Rogers knew what was up, warned Trump and Trump immediately packs up and leaves his home for New Jersey?
The conspiracy is so deep and wide, but really only the President can protect an investigator. The House has piles of evidence. Comey said that “no reasonable prosecutor would take the case” against Hillary... what does that mean, exactly? It doesn’t mean no crimes occurred, it means they are afraid of the consequences. Nobody can do this but Trump. If he has to appoint 3 Special Prosecutors, to divide the workload and protect their lives so be it.
If he is holding back for leverage like Rush suggests, they sure don’t seem intimidated.
What is the point, then?
When is the opportune time? Could it be January 2019?
Why wait?
This is not a bargaining tool. These documents must be released. This makes Donald Trump look crooked. Do they actually have something on Trump that he needs to use this tactic. Even if they do then Trump still needs to look out for justice. He is now becoming part of a coverup. We are so screwed in the long run if those crooks are never charged. It will only get so much worse.
My only hope is that this is just a temporary ploy. Part of a game that still ends very badly for those criminals who abused their power.
Trump has an obligation in fulfilling his oath of office to see that the culprits in this coup attempt are brought to justice. That oath does not allow political calculations, and does not allow Obama to go free.
The Dems will find some judge to block the release.
So now it's "next year"?

We're still in Afghanistan. The Benghazi culprits and the associated funneling of weapons to terrorists hasn't been addressed. Now, President Trump is cancelling meeting with leaders instead of talking to them. NK peace progress has stopped since Bolton joined the administration. Sigh
There is no purpose in releasing those files now. It is better to release it right before his re election.

I dont believe PresidentTrump would personalize all this important info. He wants us all to see everything. Also the really wicked things he said were too terrible for us to see. He must be misinforming the msm.
