Climate change isnt just about extreme heat waves in distant future decades, or melting glaciers far away from the neighborhoods, forests and farms of Virginia.
Storms are dropping heavier rainfall, summer nights aren't cooling off as much, tides are creeping higher than before and its already happening in our backyards.
Those trends are likely to continue and intensify by the time a child growing up today gets to retirement age.
The scenarios and the evidence are laid out in a new report called the Fourth National Climate Assessment, which was composed by hundreds of experts across 13 federal agencies.

The game in every article is to find the Waldo word that makes the article speculative propaganda. It is words like "might", "likely", "could", etc. They appear early in the article but then the remainder of the article treats the statement as fact.

We have always had occasional floods all across America, the flood zones have been well known for decades and in some cases centuries but people keep rebuilding in them and expecting something different.
Fires are nothing new, especially in California were we historically have periods of severe drought made worse by over drawing aquifers, rivers and lakes along with the build up of brush and dead trees as fuels for the conflagrations. Not to mention heavily populating formerly virgin wilderness.
And rising seas? where, where has there been any significant measurable rise in the seas in all the decades they have been fear mongering, what we have seen and is documented is ground subsidence from all of building in susceptible coastal areas.
This is at least the third gloom and doom AGW article today!
