My comment: They have been living on the Mexican roads and in public places, perfectly unharmed, nice and safe for 40 days. Why should they be deemed unsafe, now? There is no US travel advisory to avoid Tijuana. Thousands of Americans cross the SD/TJ border every day. If it’s safe enough for Americans, it’s good enough for them, too. The safe way would have been to apply for asylum in Central America.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the WaPo photographer slapped the kid to get it to cry.
All the laws did not take into consideration the thousands attempting to storm/invade our country, being financed by an enemy of our US. This is not migrants, they are dangerous foreigners.

American law is inapplicable to activity in a foreign country otherwise Africa would be depopulated and all would be living in Baltimore or Philadephia
