Back in the 70s I used to fish Montaulk with a buddy in a 16’ Whaler. We’d go every weekend from right after Labor Day to Thanksgiving. Seas were seldom calm enough to be on a plane. It used to amaze me that we ALWAYS seemed to be going uphill! We were always looking up at the crest of the next wave, NEVER down into the trough. lol
Neither of us ever got sick, though.
Thanks roadguy...
I have lots of customers that fish that area. Usually in nothing less than a 30 footer! In a 16’ whaler you guys had to get beat constantly!
Looks like Trump will have a few wannabes to get rid of in the primaries. I’m guessing a week should handle them all.
No problem, always great to hear from you.
Actually, Kasich is talking about a third party challenge, not a Republican one.
He knows he can’t beat DJT in the primaries.
So he hopes to be the Ross Perot Monkey Wrench of 2020.
It is hard to comprehend how sick Ohioans are over Ka-sick. He beat a patsy, weak candidate and then got reelected over another one. Achieving 8 years of free time to campaign for President on our dime. He has completely departed from the “boy wonder” as Speaker Newt’s finance chairman that installed the Contract With America. He has now gone full progressive. Will veto the heartbeat bill and the Ohio stand-my-ground law which were both passed overwhelmingly by Ohio legislature. He opposes Trump at every turn. Meanwhile, neighboring Indiana gets our federal money due to Pence being their former governor. Kasick is a blight, fool and scoundrel...and oh yes, a letter carrier’s son (but no DNA to prove it).
NOt to surprising Kasick is hated at home whats to like the guy is a wannabe who never will be.

Meanwhile somewhere near Tijuana:
Migrants in the Central American caravan heading towards the US border are planning to wait until an expected 20,000 migrants arrive in Tijuana and then enter the United States illegally en masse, according to a report.
The group plans to attempt to illegally enter the US through vehicle lanes at San Ysidro, because its more spacious.
.............................
In a video posted by Pueblo Sin Fronteras, one of the organizations assisting the caravan, a leader is heard saying that there will be an attempt to cross the US border on Sunday, November 25.
The best day to go to the bridgepeacefully, not with violenceis on Sunday. And write banners with our points and we dont want the media to publish this before we do it, the leader is heard saying.
President Trump said that he has no intention of allowing the invading mob into the country, even if that means closing the US border.
If for any reason it becomes necessary, we will CLOSE our Southern Border. There is no way that the United States will, after decades of abuse, put up with this costly and dangerous situation anymore! Trump tweeted on Saturday.
......................
Looks like we shall soon see what these clowns are up to since the day they try to cross the border is today.

Maybe he can run with Ol Bernie. While Bernie is filibustering with all his socialism BS Kasick can be chewing on a chicken bone in the background.Could be a good bet for must see TV.
What if your parents named you Jehmu. You had never been to Africa, could not find it on a map and had nothing to do with Africans, how would that work?
I guess not, but thank you.
Oh, we were!
It was a Whaler Montauk with the wooden console. We had to re-anchor it to the deck two times. But hey, we were young (late 20s, early 30s) and we were indestructable.
Besides, the Whalers of that era were “unsinkable” and after all, with the model name “Montauk”, where else could you use it?
Thank The Lord we did not have the power options (or the $$$ to afford them) that are out there today. We had a Johnson 60. lol
I had the best of both worlds back then. I had a 20’ Critchfield Malibu with a Johnson 125 that I kept in the water near the mouth of the East River. We’d take it out on the west Sound after work at night and trailer his Whaler on weekends. On spring and summer weekends we’d take my boat down through the harbor, gas up behind Sandy Hook and fish the Bight. Come back behind the Hook to cook on a Coleman camp stove and sleep in the cabin.
Bein’ young and healthyy was fun....I miss it. LOL
Tribalism is bad unless it is Dem tribalism.
Well that may be true, Unless you are interested in seeing how to do propaganda / brainwashing done extremely well. The last time propaganda was done this well was in Lenin's time and Goebbels excelled at it as well.
Sen. Ben Sasse was exceptional, and if you did not watch him you should. His deflecting from the "political" to the home spun was so well done, My guess is that anyone watching would agree with the man, that Politics should be left out of the ordinary pearson's life and left to his betters. People like Ben Sasse are everywhere in the Propaganda organs, Fox News Sunday host does it well but not as well as Ben Sasse did this morning.
I can understand why Ben Sasse was elected - it goes to the 80/20 rule. The majority who voted for Ben Sasse must have been mesmerized by Ben's home spun goodness.
Goebbels did as well in pre war Germany to uplift the spirits of a downtrodden, defeated, suffering from Hyperinflation German population.
this Ben Sasse moment can be used as a Training video to highlight how the Propaganda bureaus, the local nightly news succeed in not informing the public. Feeding the populace with bromides works, until the Poop hits the fan
Don’t hear the Dems moaning about election fraud this time, wonder why?
When it does hit the fan they just blame the Repubs like they did GW for 8 years.
LOL! That would be a sight to see!
Not sure why you are getting worked up - IT appears to me that the majority of the voting People of Maine - A.K.A. Taxachustes North simply prefer their betters telling them to shut up and be good slaves.
So, let me digress - Many here were calling that we vote RINO this election season because they are better than the Dems.
Well they are not better than the Dems. And lo and behold, two RINOs in Texas, one, my own despicable RINO Johhny culberson and one RINO in the Dallas area - both areas are Suburbs, have been replaced by Dems.
And I could not be happier about this miss-arable miscreant RINO being thrown out of Congress
