While some may have seen it that way, Christ admonished them to spread the word to the gentiles. I don’t think his motives were to make Jews jealous. It was to spread the word of salvation.
Romans 11, espc. v. 13-15, AMP discusses how the Gospel and inheritance was given to the gentiles, in v13/14 Paul clearly states he hoped to move the Jews to Jealousy to stir them up to seek the truth in the hope that some would receive salvation....
Clearly Christ demonstrated that He came to save all, first the Jew then the world. His discussions about salvation/kingdom of God did not differentiate. He used the Jew as a discriminator to the Woman who tried to deceive Him, and who’s faith resulted in her comment about “even the dogs eat scraps fallen from the Master’s table” (paraphrasing).
