Trump issues Thanksgiving threat to close US-Mexico border (Give Thanks for PDJT)
ABC via AP ^ | November 22 2018 | Jill colvin

President Donald Trump made a Thanksgiving Day threat to close the U.S. border with Mexico for an undisclosed period of time if his administration determines that its southern ally has lost "control" on its side.

Trump also said he has given.... active-duty troops .... the "OK" to use lethal force against migrants "if they have to." [snip]

The president would not discount the possibility of a partial government shutdown early in December over lawmakers' refusal to allocate the billions of dollars he is demanding for a border wall, the central promise of his 2016 campaign. "Could there be a shutdown? There certainly could, and it will be about border security, of which the wall is a part," Trump said..[snip]

The U.S. government shut down one port of entry, San Ysidro, in California, for several hours early Monday morning to bolster security. ..... Trump asserted that there are "fistfights all over the streets" in Tijuana, Mexico, and that "these are not like normal, innocent people.... he said. "I don't want that in this country."

The people of Tijuana "opened up with wide arms" to welcome the caravan, Trump said, and "now they're going crazy to get them out ... because bad things are happening."[snip]

Trump said that if U.S. officials "find that it's incontrollable, if we find that it gets to a level where we are going to lose control or where people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under control. The whole border."

In that case, Mexico would take an economic hit, he said, citing an inability to ship cars into the U.S. for sale.

"We're either going to have a border or we're not," Trump said.

I’m thankful I don’t live in Mexico.

I’m thankful for a Prez who wants to keep Mexicans in Mexico.

The President is free to close the Border for national security. National security is his #1 responsibility. Regardless of the 9th or any other Court.

“Our southern ally”

My spinach burrito it is. The Texas War for Independence taught us once for all that Mexico is an alien hostile society.

The Caravan has been a full-scale media production, funded by major Democratic donors like George Soros, and specifically scheduled to take place during the period before the mid-term elections in the hopes of disgracing Donald Trump and his policy of protecting Americans from out-of-control, sometimes violent, hordes of invaders.

The production has been a failure, but it threatens to turn into a disaster for George Soros and the Democrats if the violence in Tiajuana and on our border continues and the U.S. public becomes increasingly aware of how and why the Caravan was created.

And what better way to focus public attention on the disaster-in-the-making on our borders than for the Democrats to refuse to fund Trump’s longed-for border fence — thereby allowing Trump to shut down the government and spend the shut-down period explaining to Americans the serious need for such a fence, as hordes of increasingly violent, out-of-control, American-flag-burning Caravan members commit virtual hara-kiri among themselves because George Soros does not have the decency to fund their way back to Central America.

Maybe why Trump made the public comment about them. Shine a spotlight on their antics.

Do not forget the Catholic Church and it’s millions in support for illegal immigration.

Perhaps the current caravans assistance by Catholic Charities has more to do with some states Attorney Generals finally seeking documents from church leaders in America about homosexual predator protection and criminal protection?

PDJT is fulfilling his Presidential duty under Article IV, SECTION 4 , clause 2 of the Constitution:

“.] and [the United States] shall protect each of them [the States] against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Presidet Trump has a duty to close the border with force majeur or give the invaders a whiff of grape, or both, if our Southern Border is compromised.

International Law also supports President Trump should he decide to pursue these criminals into Mexico to round them up and repatriate them by force. We have done so before in our history.

I am grateful for Trump's Conservative rhetoric.

Unfortunately, most of the time, it turns out to be only rhetoric.

Someone will file a lawsuit.

Trump will send pro-immigration career DOJ Democrat lawyers into court to defend his Conservative policy.

His lawyers will make a half-hearted perfunctory defense.

An injunction will be issued against Trump's new policy.

Soon, the issue will fade from memory, and nothing will change.

Q-bots will urge us to “Trust the Plan.”

Most Conservatives will agree that Trump is completely helpless against the all powerful federal Judiciary.

I will believe Trump is serious when Trump starts enforcing the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952.

8 U.S.C. §1182(f) of the U.S. Code:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

“Severely punish Mexico for allowing these migrants to even reach our southern border. Mexico shows to be an enemy and don’t belong in the new trade agreement. Boycott Mexican products!”

I will bet you money that at this very moment, Mexico is in “negotiations” with Trump for enough money to pay them to remove the caravans. And sadly, it may well be the cheapest solution.

Donald J.Trump.... as he walked across the stage my eyes welled with tears...and I just don’t do that!........Hope realized, especially when there is so much at stake, is an awesome emotional rush that often catches most by surprise...and that sense/feeling cannot be described....

So I do understand where you are at today...and it’s a wonderful thing!

The man’s not perfect, but no man is. The reason I’ve put all my chips on him is the fact that whatever he is...he’s not part of the self-serving, rapacious, greedy and corrupt modern American political class. I trust him as much as I loathe the rest of them.

Caravan - Central American Criminals Mass Arrests By Tijuana Police (Video)

At least 40 members of the multiple caravans of Central American migrants who have recently arrived in the border city of Tijuana, Mexico, have by now been arrested for various crimes and will face deportation.

The Tijuana government accused them of a string of offenses, including drug possession, drunkenness, social disorder, and resisting arrest.
Last night, three more Central American migrants were arrested for minor offenses (disturbing the peace and allegedly smoking marijuana) by police in Tijuana, as footage shows.

“As the number of people arriving at the shelters increases, we have to increase the number of the security forces, with the support of other authorities,” Tijuana’s secretary of public security Marco Antonio Sotomayor commented on the situation.

The statement furthermore said it was expected that the caravan members would be deported from Mexico “to their country of origin.”
Tijuana is having difficulty dealing with the great number of migrant arrivals and the mayor has called upon the federal government to release additional funding.

Lethal force

Meanwhile, tension is mounting at the border as the White House released a “decision memorandum”, signed by the president warning that “credible evidence and intelligence” indicates thousands of approaching Central American migrants “may prompt incidents of violence and disorder” which could threaten border patrol agents and other government personnel.
