Four-term congressman defeats Democrat Bourdeaux in once safe GOP seat

Georgia Republican Rep. Rob Woodall barely survived his re-election against Democrat Carolyn Bourdeaux, prevailing in a recount two weeks after Election Day.

Woodall led Bourdeaux by just 419 votes after the first count, which was a slim enough margin for the challenger to request a recount. The four-term congressman’s margin grew to 433 votes after Wednesday’s recount, and Bourdeaux conceded in the afternoon, shortly before The Associated Press called the race.

Who doubts that had it been California, same votes cast, the Democrat would’ve won?

Dear Republican party of Georgia (mainly the outer Atltanta counties)

You need to take a hard look at the mirror and see what YOUou have created - I got on CNN a few years ago and chased my congresscritter from public office and I will show up at every opportunity I get to you to remember who are your constituents.

Act NOW, or turn the state back over to the Democrats.

That will learn them! Turn GA in California East because the State GOP does not do only what YOU want.

About the politically stupidest thing I have read around here.

The problem is this: Of the GOP, only Trump and a few of his followers are actually willing to FIGHT.

The others want to lose.

And because states control their own electoral process, Trump cannot by law directly intervene even if the cheating is PAINFULLY obvious.

What we NEED are candidates willing and able to fight.

And for that matter, we need non-candidates who are willing and able to go to court over these fraudulent recounts instead of just kvetch about it over the Internet!

Handel wasn’t very engaged in her reelection. I don’t know if she thought it was a given or what.

This tells us the rats don’t at this time have a ballot injection apparatus established in GA-7 like they do in places like CA, MN, WA, and Broward Co.

Kommie Stacy Abrams took 57% in the district or so I heard.

My uncle’s district I’m not mistaken.

Yes. Tons of Republicans are interested. The bitch who almost won for the rats also faces intra-party competition.
