Between this and Marcia Fudge’s surrender last night, I’m now convinced that the biennial “Pelosi faces revolt in leadership fight” stories are just a media conspiracy to spice up the otherwise boring lame-duck news cycle. Or they’re an early Christmas gift to reporters from House Democrats to thank them for being on the liberal team all year long. Every two years a few caucus members are tasked with mounting a phony rebellion against Nancy to generate a little kabuki intrigue for the press to cover.

I’ll bet her husband used his money to pay people to find dirt on everyone in Congress and it’s that Black Book that keeps her in power. It’s the only thing that makes sense in light of her recent actions.

If Pelosi’s father did/does indeed have ties to the Sicilian Mafia, certain people can make you change your vote or opinion VERY fast.
Being Italian and knowing more than a little of their “persuasion” techniques, and having borrowed money from a loan shark once (If I didn’t know someone when i couldn’t make some payments my life may have taken a different path) I can see possibly sincere (still idiots, but sincere) new house reps trembling in fear from a phone call.

Nasty Negative Nancy had to remind Fudge that she’s the FUTURE face of America and as long as Nancy is still breathing, whitey is the King and Queen of the “democratic party”.
This is the first step to reversing the last election. They will now all march lockstep, after having assured their voters that they were “moderate” and would never support Pelosi.
Now they will lockstep with every crazy arse move she makes. They will own her next election. Hope the suburbanites really love them that Trump hate. Cause, you know, San Fran Nan really has their backs on those issues they care about.

I’m not at sure it was theater. I think these guys did try a coup, and expected an uprising behind their effort. Meanwhile the old hag pulled out the thumbscrews and got the rest of the caucus in line. With no suport, the ostensible ringleaders folded quickly
