The ‘Stolen Election’ Poison Spreads across Our Political Spectrum (more National Review barf)
National Review ^ | 11/21/18 | Jonah Goldberg

Posted on 11/21/2018 6:03:42 AM PST by Cassius Flavia Agrippa

There were indeed sketchy irregularities in Florida, but none that came close to robbing Scott of his 12,000-vote lead. Brenda Snipes, Broward County’s supervisor of elections, had a 15-year record of incompetence that at times seemed very difficult to distinguish from partisan skulduggery. She finally resigned from her post this week.

Bill Buckley wouldn’t recognize NR today...

What do you think is the best bi-monthly conservative (and I do mean conservative) magazine. I've about given up on NR.

“Bill Buckley wouldn’t recognize NR today...”

We buy sufficient quantities of toilet paper so we don’t have to have NR around.

“Goldberg is a perfect example of how one rotten apple can spoil the barrel.”

Wow! So you think he’s the only “rotten apple” at National Review?

Goldberg is a dirtbag Plain and simple. Followed closely by the vile rich lowlife Lowry. Buckley is rolling over in his grave.

I just connected the dots. I knew Jonah has been butt hurt these past 2 years that Trump won, but didn’t realize he wrote for perpetually butt hurt neo-con rag the National Review. Makes sense. He belongs there.

Bill Buckley ostracized the John Birch Society, thus helping to establish the precedent of ousting the Deplorables (and his doing so has in fact been cited by Goldberg types as justification for removing us from the Republican Big Tent in any way feasible).

Buckley was brilliant and inimitable. He was also an occasionally insufferable intellectual snob. My Mensa Membership Mentality was never as impressed by him as I was told to be.

“He was also an occasionally insufferable intellectual snob.”

Occasionally? He was insufferable 99% of the time!

The article is not as bad as I first feared. At least he acknowledges the double standard (Trump is “paranoid” and Abrams has a point according the media).

He’s still an idiot though, look at GD California.
