Trump Denounces Obama-Appointed Judge Blocking Denial of Asylum to Caravan Migrants

President Donald Trump reacted to an order from a federal judge on Tuesday to halt enforcement of his order to deny asylum to the migrant caravan crossing into the United States illegally at the Southern border. “This was an Obama judge, and I’ll tell you what, it’s not going to happen like this anymore,” Trump said, about the judge’s ruling on the migrant caravan.

U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar of San Francisco, appointed by former President Barack Obama, issued a restraining order of the Trump administration’s effort to deny asylum to migrants trying to cross the southern border illegally.

The administration would still allow people crossing through legal points of entry to claim asylum.

The president complained about activist judges as he left the White House for his Thanksgiving weekend in Florida.

“That’s not law, that’s not what this country stands for,” Trump said, reacting to the ruling.

These are not ‘activist’ judges, they are fascists and they will do anything to ensure their masters control what we say, do, think, and even remember.

So not only those that sneak in, but if some storm the border to enter as they did at a checkpoint in Mexico according to this judge they should still be eligible for asylum? That is truly insanity.

These judges blocking the enforcement of immigration laws and rulings are saying no need to follow our laws or policy, and we will welcome you anyway.

The Judge doesn’t even make sense on this.

Australia is following Trump’s example, due to public pressure:

21 Nov: news.com.au: (Australian Prime Minister Scott) Morrison pulls UN migration pact support
Australia won’t be signing a UN-sponsored document on safe and orderly migration because Scott Morrison says it would compromise the country’s borders.
by Daniel McCulloch, AAP
Scott Morrison is following in Donald Trump’s footsteps by refusing to sign a non-binding migration agreement which Australia helped draft…

But the prime minister says the UN pact would compromise Australia’s border security and immigration settings.
“It doesn’t distinguish between those who illegally enter Australia and those who come the right way,” he told 2GB radio on Wednesday.
“I would never allow something to compromise our borders, I worked too hard to ensure that we weren’t in that position.”…

(Home Affairs Minister Peter) Dutton said Australia had stopped boat arrivals and drownings at sea through hardline border protection policies.
“We’re not going to surrender that, we want our sovereignty to remain intact,” he said…

He needs to do something more than complain to reporters. He must have known this would happen why wasn’t the appeal filed this morning?

The judge ignores U.S. Code § 1158 - Asylum (2)(a) which states that since they were offered asylum in a country before they came to the US and turned it down, they are not eligible for asylum

Can 9th Circuit judges be removed, or are these lifetime appointments?

Trump and Turtle need to fill EVERY VACANCY on EVERY COURT at hyper speed while they can. I mean EVERY single one.

Split up the Ninth Circus and add another Circuit Court diluting the reach of the Ninth.

The judge made a big mistake. He separated asylum application from mode of entry. It complicates things, but Pres. Trump can just deport them to the last country they came from, for illegal entry, along with copies of their asylum application papers.

Have fun, Mexico!

We can’t allow blatantly partisan judges to run the country. Trump should request immediate review by the USSC.

Its abundantly clear that many leftist judges are part of the anti-Trump resistance team. They are not making legally based decisions; they are politically based.

He can’t because he will be impeached. The stupid public believes the lie that the SCOTUS is the final say in everything

This is a separation of powers issue. A District Judge has no authority in the field of immigration or in the security operations on our frontiers. Ignore the Judge. Make him do something to assert his imaginary power or jurisdiction.

“Good. I hope Trump is pissed enough to just ignore the order.”

I’m guessing he does not have the stones to declare that the judge has no jurisdiction and thus POTUS will ignore the advisory opinion.

The same will not be said of the next Dem POTUS who will routinely disregard any judicial pronouncement he/she/it considers bad.

I’m actually wondering how well knows the ins and outs of how government works. His biggest errors seem to relate to this very thing. Furthermore, there are very few whom he trusts to give him sound counsel.
