“Lara wins for state insurance commissioneranother loss for California right-of-center candidates”
It may bode well for other states...all the conservatives who can have either left or are in the process.
The exodus of the Makers will now increase, while the Takers stay. Yes, goodbye sweet California.
Unfortunately, we cant leave just yet. Our legacy includes 4 granddaughters, ages 15,12,6 & 4, who all live close by. The importance of what we leave them, memories of times spent together, family helping family, etc., are far more valuable and can not be purchased for any amount of money. No politician can ever come between us.
There probably will come a time when we cant afford to live here any longer and well work that out if that happens. Its just a terrible shame that such a wonderful state has fallen so far. But, the question is, where do we go from here? Its only a matter of time till the next state falls. Arizona, Texas? Colorados gone, Oregon and Washington too.
I hear your pain. I have a similar situation in Illinois.
I am a grand parent in SoCal. We are leaving in two years before the communists take everything.
Ca has the best nature
And weather
Screw the politicians
You are so right. The community we have lived in for 42 years has changed but the people are still the nicest around. All my granddaughters go to great schools, two of them private though.
When we give up, it hopefully will be together. I shudder to think my kids will be talking to my caregivers through Face Time!
