And it should be a 40 point win for any Joe Blow Republican.
But, some Republicans are not smart enough to win even in Mississippi.
A woman after my own heart...
quit reliving the a$$ kicking you helped bring on in alabama. until she starts dating 13 year olds, the mississippi seat is safe.
Fake news hit piece.
On schedule.
The confederate hat bs is probably not damaging. But some of her other BS doesnt help. On the other hand its the same strategy the Dems used in Florida against DeSantis and it failed.
Where does the Republican Party find these candidates?
Let the bigotry begin.
Go away.
What part of “History” don’t democrats understand? So she poses in a Confederate hat and that makes her a Confederate?
Do any of these people ever learn anything? Does common sense ever enter the picture? If I were advising candidates, especially Republican candidates, I would steer clear of anything that might smack of Stupid PC in this day and time.
She should have had that picture scrubbed a long time ago. In fact all politicians should not have twitter, Facebook, or any social media pages. They just invariably get into trouble no matter what.
I can’t foresee any scenario where Cindy Hyphen-Smith can lose this race.
Sheesh, she was on a museum tour.
So?
The minority party DemoKKKrats NEVER give up. I'm thinking "the rabid dog cure" at the end of all things.
... Cindy Hyde-Smith was a Democrat her entire life, winning three terms in the State Senate where she served from 2000 to 2012. But in order to run and win a statewide race for Agriculture Commissioner, she switched parties, not out of principle but out of pure political opportunism. She knew she would have a much easier time winning as a Republican than a Democrat.
But, make no mistake about it, in her earlier career she was a hardcore Democrat. Although its hard to know who she voted for in General Elections, her voting records show that she voted in every Democratic primary and runoff until her switch in 2011, so we can only logically conclude that she supported the Democratic nominee in the General.
Here are some of the Democratic elections that she voted in since 2006:
But now that shes in the political fight of her life, up against the most conservative of candidates in McDaniel, shes trying to mold herself into a lifelong conservative, hoping voters forget her many years in that other party. Her campaign website is chock full of conservative positions that make her sound just like Senator McDaniel. ...
So? And??
Reps took 57% of the vote in that race. McDaniel took 16.5 % of that.
I can’t believe McDaniel voters will flip to Espy or all stay home. Nor do I believe Cindy voters will flip.
What will happen is, RATS suing to expand restricted mail in ballot times for the runoff ( even as they are manufacturing their own mail in ballots )
This seat should be a hold, but....
What pray tell is wrong with a Confederate cap. In Mississippi no less? If she has any Trump in her she’ll double down and win. If she’s more culturally sensitive like most of the GOPe denizens, she’ll quiver, shake and take an ass pounding. Not knowing anything about the race I’ll choose the latter as her course. Sad but true.
Why did she think posing in the historical democrat garb would be a good idea?
It seems a bit kooky.
Cindy Hyde-Smith won two statewide elections in Mississippi. In 2011 and 2015 as Agriculture & Commerce Commissioner.
Oh, and did she vote for Kavanaugh as USSC?
Yes she did....Espy would not have.
So shut your trap.
