THE Spanish prime minister has threatened to reject the Brexit withdrawal agreement unless the European Union hands Madrid a guaranteed veto over the future of Gibraltar in any trade deal between Britain and Europe.

Just tell the EU to EFF OFF and dont give them a cent!
Tell them you spent it all supporting the ‘migrants’
Sink the Hispanic Armada, again.
Dumb question: Does Britain really need Spain’s okay? Or anybody?
What is Frau Merkel and the EU Fourth Reich going to do if Britain simply goes her own way, send more buzz bombs?
First the Frogs were th their typical arrogance and nowthe Spanish trying to essentially make a land grab. Do the British people need any more motivation to turn this deal down and have a hard Brexit?
A hard Brexit is the only rational course of action. No deals. If individual nations within the EU want to negotiate trade deals with the UK, great. If not, that’s also fine, but their loss.
Spain seeks to expand it’s sovereignty and absorb territory controlled by another European nation.
And their excuse is: nationalism is bad and the UK is insufficiently embracing the concept of a unified Europe.
If Britain leaves the EU w/o an agreement it could result in a period of chaos as hard borders suddenly go up and all movement of goods is subject to inspections and possible tariffs on both sides of the border. The result is that ordinary trade and commerce could slow to a crawl. I would also assume that the major banks and financial firms that currently operate out of London may move to Frankfurt or Paris in order to retain their open access to the EU markets.
From the beginning, the only viable (for the UK people) BRexit was going to be a “Bye, we’re out of here” negotiation-less one.
Wreck away!
Theresa May’s Brexit deal is complicated, unworkable, bureaucratic hairball of stupidity which will never survive reality.
Are they going to give Morocco veto power over Ceuta?
The tunnel was a bad idea.
el espana need to pay reparation$ to the Americas ...
Then tell them they will recognize Catalonian independence.
C’mon, now. Don’t try to inject a bit of reality into the “screw Europe” crowd.
“Just tell the EU to EFF OFF and dont give them a cent!”
I really can’t understand what all the agonizing is with the British government acting as a supplicant to the unelected bureaucrats in the EU.
Spain holds an offshore exclave in Morocco.
They have little room to talk.
I agree, flood it
A hard Brexit is the only rational course of action.

Agree. Once again this old adage applies: Its easier to get into something than it is to get out of it.
