Migrant Complains About Free Food She’s Been Given By Mexico, Calls It Pig Food

Deutsche Welle’s Spanish language channel, DW Español, traveled to Tijuana in order to interview some of the migrants living in the camps. A reporter asked one of the migrants how the living conditions were in the camp. The woman complained about the food she had been given in the camp, calling it food for “pigs” and saying she would “die of hunger” if she did not eat it.
“The truth is, the food that they’re handing out here is terrible,” the woman complained while holding up the food platter. “Look at what they’re giving us. Refried beans, as if they were feeding the pigs. And the truth is, we don’t have any other options. If we don’t eat this, we will die of hunger,” according to the Spanish translation of her answer.

I worked for a company, the owners were from Mexico. We were going to lunch one day and someone suggestion Mexican food. I said:
We had Mexican yesterday.

Refried pinto beans are unique to Sonora and maybe Sinaloa.
The further south you go the beans are black and whole.

when some one helps you out by gifting you something ( that is what the food was) you don’t complain because it is not what you wanted. this shows what type of drain the person will be if they are allowed to stay in the united states.

I have been to Honda and Salvador. They eat arepas and beans. They aren’t used to tortillas and retried pintos. Totally different cuisines.
