A Jewish man was attacked Saturday by left-wing protesters in Philadelphia who suspected him of being part of a small far-right rally, according to activists at the scene.
The man, identified only as “Zachary” after asking that his name be withheld, had wandered across a tiny conservative rally of some 30 activists and a counter-protest of several hundred left-wing activists across a police cordon ---SNIP--- The cops basically abandoned me. I’m looking for any car to jump into, and they’re asking, ‘How do we know you’re a Jew?'”

Amen! If you refuse to defend/protect yourself, don’t expect someone else to do it. The Supreme Court has ruled on numerous occasions that the police are under no obligation to protect Citizens. The duty of the police is to protect the Government and its interests.
They will not want one when and if they get one.
I would not go that far. What he is probably thinking is,”What did I do to them to make them mad or make them hate me. According to the article, he was sobbing afterward, not cussing.

There is, the FBI. Along with local police and is some areas joint task forces. It's their job. As a matter of policy, they consider right wing groups a greater threat. If they were out there, they'd be watching the conservative protestors. The local police would be responsible for keeping order and making arrests in incidents like this. They were there, and did nothing.

It doesn't appear as though his religion had anything to do with this, the Antifa terrorists thought he was a conservative.
CLEARLY, the police in DemocRat controlled areas ate refusing to protect conservatives from attack by leftist thugs.
Conservatives who demonstrate in such arwas need to arrange for their own security - in whatever way possible.
