Brenda Snipes Resigns After Recount Debacle
Hot Air ^ | 19 Nov 2018 | Jazz Shaw

You supposedly won’t have Brenda Snipes to kick around anymore. The subject of one of the more famous “Florida Woman” stories of late is reported to have resigned her position as Broward County Election Supervisor, taking effect in January. After numerous, spectacular failures in processing election results over the years, Saturday’s debacle of submitting their recount results two minutes after the deadline had passed was apparently a bridge too far and Ms. Snipes is stepping down. (Washington Times)

Taking a page from the playbook of disgraced public officials around the country, Snipes reportedly wants to “spend more time with her family” and listed that as the reason for her departure in her resignation letter. Questions still remain concerning roughly 2,000 ballots that were somehow “lost” when the machine recount was underway. Other observers (and protesters) claimed that she may have missed the Saturday deadline intentionally because the Democrats had wound up losing votes in Broward County rather than gaining them. The truth of those situations may never be known.

She’s taking a dive for the higher up RATs who conjured up this failed attempt to steal the votes in Florida!

She will be replaced by someone equally evil. This kind of corruption takes many people and an organization. Getting rid of Snipes does not solve the fundamental problem.

She needs to be prosecuted. Doubt the RINOS have the stomach for it though.

They’re paralyzed by the fear of being labeled “racist”, so nothing will be done in Broward County. Same reason RINO Jeb appointed her in the first place, you know, the whole “reaching across the aisle” to the Dems thing.

If DeSantis has to appoint a successor, it will be really interesting to see how that plays out.

As for the two minutes, that is ridiculous. We have all had slightly different times on the vcr and oven, on watches and cells. I can’t remember the official time standard, but was FL on it? Doubtful. Or, more likely, did some Democrat look at their watch and decide this would be an occasion to manufacture more votes?

Guess it’s moot now. Florida is now solidly red.

Her resignation is not enough.

Every spec of evidence needs to be confiscated and an outside official audit of every “vote” cast in the county needs to be made. In particular all mail in and proivisional ballots need an outside audit seeking to match signatures with orginal signatures on file with the registrars.

Fake news.

Understand what’s really going on here.

She is resigning because the Democrats ordered her so. They know she can’t be there in 2020, because Broward and Palm Beach counties are necessary resources for thousands of fraudulent votes in 2020, and with Snipes in control, it will cause unnecessary attention to Broward and inhibit generating fake votes by the thousands. Replacing her takes attention off that in 2020 and the democrats who run the county will have a new chief in charge who will repeat the same fraud.

Snipes in return has probably been promised some great deal by the democrats, like appointment to some high-paying, low work job, a reward for 15 years of helping democrats win elections illegally.

Under Florida law there’s a possibility of a special prosecutor..can be appointed by the AG.

Isn’t there a criminal investigation in progress concerning Broward and Palm Beach counties violating existing election laws???

She had to resign. She couldn’t manufacture enough votes to change the results.

The folks in southern FL need to learn voter fraud and deception will NOT be tolerated.

But it has. And will probably continue because nobody has the balls to prosecute. That's why they do it.

As of now-—

Brenda Snipes has resigned effective January 4, 2019.

Rick Scott will need to resign his Governorship on January 3, 2019 to be sworn in as a US Senator the same day.

Lt Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera will be sworn in on January 3, 2019 and will be Governor until January 8, 2019 when new Governor Ron DeSantis is sworn in.

Therefore, Lt Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera can be the Governor to appoint a hard-nosed investigator to clean up the corruption in the Broward County Supervisor of Elections during the remaining two years of Snipes’ current term.

Will the Florida Republicans have the backbone to actually do something about the long term corruption in Broward County?
