McRaven didn’t lead the mission. He watched it on a TV screen in another country. Dick Marcinko through him out of seal team six because he got upset at methods and tactics and rowdy behavior. He’s your typical prig navy officer Who thinks he’s some kind of royalty. He never did fit in. Now he walks around growing that he let the mission? Laughable.
This “raid” has been puffed up to mythical proportions. A fouled up as Pakistan is, it is at least somewhat of an ally. It was a virtually unguarded house in a semi-friendly country. This was nothing like Operations Ivory Coast (Son Tay) or Eagle Claw (Desert One). The real trick was getting the aircraft in and out, and not anything the Seals did. As usual, Trump is correct, in this case about McRaven.

And please remind people that apparently the Pentagon had accumulated TWO TERABYTES of data files on the 911 conspirators BEFORE the attack took place. (Congressman Curt Weldon worked hard to get the Pentagon to divulge this information, but lost re-election effort in 2006. The entirety of the data was supposedly destroyed/deleted shortly thereafter.) And the Minnesota office of the FBI was asking questions and could not get the FBI in DC to give a f#@k, or a second look.

To put it another way - we can’t trust the government we have now to protect us, or tell us the truth. It is something of “everyman for him/herself”. And that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Now if we could just get the LEECHES to abandon the notion that it is their right to bleed us white (racism not intended, LOL), and control us.
