Gorka: John F. Kennedy wouldn't be allowed in Democratic Party
The Hill ^ | 11/18/18 07:01 AM EST | JOHN BOWDEN

Former White House aide Sebastian Gorka took aim at Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and progressive members of the Democratic Party in a new interview, asserting that former President Kennedy would not be welcome in the modern-day incarnation of his party.

In an interview airing Sunday on AM 970 in New York, Gorka tells "The Answer" host John Catsimatidis that a "hardcore, pro-nationalist" such as Kennedy would be unwelcome in the party.

ADVERTISEMENT "Today, a hardcore, pro-nationalist politician like John F. Kennedy would not be allowed in the Democrat party. That’s how bad it is," Gorka says, adding: “The lunatics are taking over the asylum ... Bill Clinton and his ilk would at least rein in the loonies."

"When you’ve got Kamala Harris comparing [the Department of Homeland Security] and [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] to the [Ku Klux Klan] ... When you’ve got Ocasio-Cortez, who’s publicly calling for a socialist revolution ... you understand that the Democrat party has been taken over by radicals," Gorka adds in the interview.

Kennedy was frequently attacked during his 1960 campaign for president by Republicans for policies called socialist at the time, including a plan for government grants for students to attend medical schools and federal funding for programs aimed at helping the poor.

Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, won election to Congress last week after defeating incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.) in her district's primary election earlier this year by double-digits.

Earlier this week, the congresswoman-elect joined protesters in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) office to demand the formation of a congressional committee on climate change.

True. Even Clinton or Johnson could not be nominated.

JFK opposed communism, and even worse said “ask not what your country can do for you”. If he was running as a Democrat today, he’d either have to move much farther to the left.

Your average Repub strips their principles and philosophy down to “tax cuts”. But tax cuts don’t move people. Freedom does, but you have to present it and explain it and stand for it.

Most Repubs aren’t capable of doing it. But that’s what they should be selling, and mean it.

Kennedy’s era was a time where Socialist and Communist were still held in the same regard... Before the creep of Socialist dogma started becoming acceptable. In fact, even during the Reagan years the term ‘Liberal’ was avoided at all cost by Democrat candidates. Just being considered as ‘Liberal’ could seal your fate as being unworthy. Now liberals are almost too conservative for most Democrat hard core left-wingers. If you’re not a socialist like Obama, then you haven’t gone far enough to the left.

This is true... In fact I have several friends who are old school Kennedy democrats. They are cussing this new snot nosed Communist party even more than I am. But... They still have some idea that they can turn it around to what it used to be. This is a mistake, it’s never going back.

JFK would be a Rino if he lived today.

The Marxist anti-American Dummycrat party of today is not the same entity that JFK or Truman were members of.

JFK fought for his country, hated the reds and believed in cutting tax.

He and Truman would be staunch Trump, supporters today !

It’s the demographics changes, the destruction of our youth by schools.

And too may stupid people who get offended by a president that says the truth.

Joseph Kennedy told Nixon in early 1960, that he would help fund his election if his son, John, wasn’t nominated by the democrats. He said the democrats had too many socialists in it.

Today's Progressive Democrat Party has departed from the ideas of America's Founders. Worse, it has abandoned the convictions expressed in the following words of Democrat Party Presidents:

President Roosevelt's words in his 1942 State of the Union:

"January 6, 1942 "Our enemies are guided by brutal cynicism, by unholy contempt for the human race. We are inspired by a faith that goes back through all the years to the first chapter of the Book of Genesis: "God created man in His own image." We on our side are striving to be true to that divine heritage. We are fighting, as our fathers have fought, to uphold the doctrine that all men are equal in the sight of God. Those on the other side are striving to destroy this deep belief and to create a world in their own image—a world of tyranny and cruelty and serfdom. That is the conflict that day and night now pervades our lives. No compromise can end that conflict. There never has been—there never can be—successful compromise between good and evil. Only total victory can reward the champions of tolerance, and decency, and freedom, and faith." - President Franklin Roosevelt- 1942 SOU

"We in this country, in this generation, are – by destiny rather than choice – the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in our time and for all time the ancient vision of peace on earth, goodwill toward men…” - John F. Kennedy, Remarks to have been delivered 11/63 in Dallas

Kennedy’s remarks continued:

“That must always be our goal – and the righteousness of our cause must always underlie our strength. For as was written long ago, ‘Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.'”- JFK

JFK was a disease ridden, immoral, meth addicted sociopath without a conscience or a soul who used women like toys. He would fit in perfectly with today’s democrats, and many republicans also.

JFK was
- anti-communist
- pro-tax cuts
- defender of America’s sovereign border

That doesn’t sound like a RINO to me...but a lot like Trump.

Rino hell, he would have been the most conservative candidate on the 2016 GOP slate, bar none.

Ideologically, he’d have a problem.

But, money and power count, and Old Joe had plenty of both.

“Bill Clinton and his ilk would at least rein in the loonies.”

That, in part, was what Clinton’s takedown of rapper Sista Soulja was all about. Showing the consequences of stepping out of line. It was also a bit of a put-up job as the Congressional Black Caucus and Jesse Jackson did nothing. Clinton must have cleared it beforehand.
