Here’s a fun thought, in a nightmarish sort of way... Since Ocasio-Cortez is seen as the future of the Democrat party, maybe the GOP should support her as Speaker under the slogan “The Future is Now!”
She’s arrogant enough to get on board with the idea, and they could frame it as a gesture of bi-partisanship. Her career would be over before it started. At least it would be entertaining.
But I didn’t sleep well last night, and I haven’t had my coffee yet, so I’m not thinking too clearly.
