Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes tries to explain to the canvassing board the discrepancy in vote counts during the hand count,... recount hit yet another snag with 2,040 ballots lost or misplaced.
The county’s eternally beleaguered SOE Snipes said they were either misplaced, misfiled or mixed in with another stack. One thing she said she was sure of was that the ballots were still in the building. “The ballots are in this building. There would be nowhere else for them to be,” Snipes said. “The ballots are in the building."
Snipes has been in the crosshairs... since Election Day. With a noon Sunday deadline looming, the Canvassing Board was... uncertain what to do. “We're concerned with the ramifications of failing to complete this task,” ..." we don’t want to disenfranchise 714,849 voters at the expense of 2,000 voters.”
Snipes told the Canvassing Board and lawyers.... an employee likely misplaced the ballots. “I’m not blaming anyone, but many ... were not as well trained as some others."
...the vote tally first reported to the state is bigger than the machine recount.... That’s because the ostensibly lost ballots likely didn’t get tabulated during the recount, Snipes said. Fried, is locked in an exceedingly tight race with Republican Matt Caldwell for agriculture commissioner.

I feel bad for Caldwell, too. I feel worse for FL gun owners since the “winner/cheater” will be messing with gun laws. That’s why the libs monkeyed with ballots in that race. It may have been a more important win than Governor there with 2nd Amendment issues.

It’s a fluid ballot number that she juggles and now she’s been caught.

Your ballot accountability plan would certainly narrow the crime scene.
Keep in mind that the reason they so firmly resist purging the voter rolls of illegals, the dead, felons, and those whom have left the county is that they can use those names and vote in their stead.
Additionally, the belated counting of ‘early votes or mail-in- votes could also be votes that they have cast internally in the names of bogus registered voters and registered voters that have selected from the rolls because they rarely have voted.
That batch must be saved till the finale because there is always a possibility that they surface and vote on Election Day.

They disappeared because they were most likely fraud RAT ballots and eyes are on them now.
