PARADISE, Calif. (AP) From the ashes of a mobile home and RV park, President Donald Trump said Saturday he came to the heart of Californias killer wildfire to fully grasp the scale of the desolation wrought on the landscape.
Were going to have to work quickly. ... Hopefully this is going to be the last of these because this was a really, really bad one, said the president, standing amid the crumpled foundations of homes and twisted steel of melted cars.
I think everybodys seen the light and I dont think well have this again to this extent, Trump said in Paradise, the town largely destroyed by a wildfire ignited Nov. 8 that he called this monster.
With that bold and perhaps unlikely prediction, Trump pledged that improved forest management practices will diminish future risks. The declaration evoked his initial tweeted reaction to the fire, the worst in the states history, in which he seemed to blame local officials and threatened to take away federal funding.
When asked if seeing the historic devastation, which stretched for miles and left neighborhoods destroyed and fields scorched, altered his opinion on climate change, Trump answered, No.

So would chain gangs.
And how many have DIED because of CHOICE in California in the time this fire has been raging.
When Pigeon Forge was on fire 13 people died, the juveniles who set it got away with it. There are 3 roads leading into my sister’s house, 2 where blocked, the other barely passable. Thankfully their home didn’t burn.
BTW love the handle. Hubby wore Combat boots and dog tags for 20 yrs.
That is pretty weird. Here is an example of what you are saying. Check ot the plastic garbage carts. I doubt that they were brought there for 'clean up'.
Very well stated. I would like to add that so many are still missing and families and friends are suffering great tragedies. Not the time to politicize a tragedy on twitter but time for compassion, assurance and yes, assistance.
I am sharing your post.
That should make the leeching government very happy, they won’t have to dip into their own funds to pay the SS funds that they grifted.
Jihadists were advised to time their arson preferably in the later part of night to the early hours of morning when people are generally asleep, and instructions were offered on how to block off exits to inflict casualties. For wildfires, ISIS said to look for dry brush as fire cannot endure in damp or wet environments. Arsonists were encouraged to leave the mark of ISIS somewhere near the fire site with spray paint or black marker. Suggested target locations for arson attacks, the magazine stated, include houses and apartment buildings, forest areas adjacent to residential areas, factories that produce cars, furniture, clothing, flammable substances, etc., gas stations, hospitals, bars, dance clubs, night clubs, banks, car showrooms, schools, universities, as well as churches, Rafidi [Shiite] temples, and so forth. The options are vast, leaving no excuse for delay. https://drudgereport.com/?NF=1
Comments??
B-but what about the snail darter and the gnat catcher? They’re mighty tasty roasted in their own feathers.
Notice how the burnt part of the tree trunk only reaches up about 12 feet ? It seems the fire kept to the ground where the most flammable items were.
Here are some of the most flammable items.
Amazing that there is SO MUCH greenery left on those trees!!
Well; except for that little thingy in the upper left corner; of course.
Thanks for your comments and for sharing this post.
I wish someone in the White House would read these posts!
They on the left have a habit of critizing Trump’s manner and neglecting to take responsibility for these kinds of horrible disasters they caused.
They had/have not enough sense to know that brush and dead trees were fodder for a fire.. or they did not care and now that whole towns have been burned to the ground and lives lost that may never be found or known for sure if they are dead .. the left environmentalists would shrug and claim it’s someone else’s fault.. not theirs.
