Do you think Catholic Charities knows the women and children are being raped? Or is that why they’re in on this racket?

The real thing pissing the Mexicans off is that the $30 billion their people pull out of this nations economy and send back as remittances is the only thing keeping Mexico afloat. They don’t want anyone else cutting in on that. As much as I admire Trump and still support him he probably wasn’t aware just how dire the situation is. If we seal the border completely and Mexico’s economy collapse’s there will be a tsunami of people pouring out of Mexico into the US. It would take an entire division of troops with armor and air support to stop it.

It could be a translation error, but that is not the accepted definition of human rights. Human rights are innate rights that governments (and theoretically all people) are obliged to respect regardless of any outside classification (race, gender, criminality etc). They descend in part in common law at least as far back as the Code of Hammurabi.

I would beg to differ, to an extent. Yes, all governments are obliged to respect human rights, but when you engage in illegal activity you lose your rights. Now, it’s true that you are entitled to due process to establish your illegal activity as a fact, but his point assumed it as such. Human beings have a right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” for example, but convicts clearly do not.

Tijuana is a thriving city and profits greatly from a daily stream of American wallets - said wallets might not spend so much with them “harboring” all them illegals....

Send Soros to Hungary or Russia for a vacation permanently. Both countries know how to deal with scum.

I've heard that a person fleeing a country for any of the purposes necessary to beg asylum must do so at the first border they cross. I can find no reference to this stipulation anywhere.

Does anyone know if this is true?

If so it would seem the only persons who could apply in the US (via land) would be from Mexico or Canada.

.You seem to be laboring under the delusion that the United States government obeys the rule of law.

I thought there were international rules about asylum.

But, I have no delusions about our eroding rule of law and the wide spread acceptance of it from the Beltway to the 'Heathen Land'. However, I still don't know where the lines of who must obey and who can ignore the law are drawn. It seems largely political and somewhat influenced by skin color. It's a blurry call.

Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum said Thursday that caravan migrants arriving by the hundreds are no longer welcome ...

Well, they're NOT welcome here either. These men need to go back home and reform their own damn hellholes.

No, as someone above suggested, the drive-by media will declare this a “humanitarian crisis” and all who cry out for order will be declared — incessantly — heartless.
